Our server, Nikita, was very kind, personable, and welcoming, making sure we were well taken care of throughout the visit. The food was exceptional, and everything arrived promptly. Our host, Nikita, was phenomenal and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent. The Empire State steak and honey glazed chicken were both delicious and cooked perfectly, and we really enjoyed the soup dumplings too. Also, State & Main easily has some of the best fries of any chain restaurant, they were perfectly seasoned and flavourful. Amazing service, great food, and a wonderful experience overall.

Staff was welcoming, atmosphere was nice, but the food was very disappointing. I got the salmon as I don’t normally cook that at home, and was hoping a restaurant would cook it nicely but it was a let down. I’d stick with appetizers, and wouldn’t come here again for future celebrations.

My sister has Down syndrome and is a regular here, and they always treat her like a celebrity - and us like celebrities by association! They know her, remember her, and always make her feel so special. It really means a lot to our family. Amazing service and such a welcoming atmosphere!

The only thing that was missing was a little more customer service. Being from the same industry, I completely understand how busy a Friday night can get. We were sitting at the bar rail, and I could see that the bartenders and servers were quite busy. However, no one checked back to see how our food was, whether we needed another drink, or if we needed anything else. This is definitely not a complaint, just some positive feedback from someone in the industry. We’ll absolutely be returning, as I really enjoy the brand and have a lot of respect for Recipe and its restaurants.
