  This store is not using Thai express franchise meat. We have eat in many Thai express stores, over 30 different locations across Canada. This is the only store using different cheap meats.

  I found a hair in a meal I ordered for my child. Absolutely disgusting and completely unacceptable. Basic hygiene should be the bare minimum for any restaurant, not something customers have to hope for. If this is the level of cleanliness and quality control here, that is seriously concerning. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again.

  Our family went this week, Sept 2026, to Fairview Mall on a Tuesday, around 6:30 PM to have dinner at Thai Express. I wish I read the reviews before, as it was our WORST culinary experience ever! We have eaten out a lot, including different locations for Thai Express. And the location at Fairview should be closed. We ordered 1 shrimp Pad Thai, 1 shrimp Fried Rice and 1 daily special, beef Pad See ew, which should be coming either with 2 spring rolls or 1 fountain drink. 1st of all, when I asked for spring rolls, they said that they don't offer them at that location. I have asked for drinks, they said water, nothing else. Not having much option, I have agreed, only to see that I was charged 25 cents extra for the water,without even being told. When asking why, the lady at the cashier, who was very unfriendly, told me that the system automatically charges 25 cents. I started asking more questions saying that at all other locations, they offer either spring rolls or a soft drink with the special, she just kept saying that not there and she was getting more and.more annoyed. I showed her the Thai Express website with the daily deals, she jsut kept saying no no no. I kept telling her that it makes no sense, to even charge me more, when I get 1 water, which I did not want and not even getting the rolls or a soft drink. She just kept saying no, and that she can cancel my order. I wanted to do that, since my family wanted us to eat there I kept my order. The 2nd shock came when we got our food, which was horrible. We are not picky eaters, but this was HORRIBLE and non edible. Texture was bad, full of liquid, food over or undercooked, did not have the ingredients that are usually at other locations, taste was bad, did not taste at all like how it tastes at different locations. Fried rice had balls of white rice that was uncooked. Barely any shrimp, beef, broccoli or vegetables, full of soy sauce. All 3 meals tasted like nothing. They did not have peanuts and lime on the counter, they did not ask if we wanted them, we had to request them, plus bag. Food was also less than other locations. We have spent over $50 for food that was REALLY BAD and stuff was unfriendly. I would give it 0 stars review or even negative, if I could. I wish I would have asked for our money back!!!!! DO NOT eat there. Bayview location is 100% better. UPDATE: I want to thank the customer service team for how they handled a recent issue my family experienced at the Thai Express Fairview Mall food court location.After I reached out, the team was very professional and ensured that our feedback was shared directly with the manager. I am glad that the company will be diligently following up with the staff. We are satisfied with their fair resolution and appreciative of their prompt, sincere attention to the matter. They turned our experience into a better one, and it is clear that the company values its customers and takes feedback seriously.
