#LatePost . Visited Saturday- June 6 around 4pm.
I ordered 1 small beef tom yum, canned pop, and a spring roll.
Waiting time while the staff busy in front doing "stuff": more than 5 minutes while I was watching the staff if she noticed me. She looked but didnt budge and continued to be busy. Had a chance to wonder why am I alone in front of the Thai Express while there's big line up in other store.
Finally approached me before it becomes 10 minutes.
I received my order of tom yum and canned pop in 5 minutes more, informed to come back so I can have the spring roll. Went to a spot near Thai Express and I kept looking if she will signal for me to come and pick up the spring roll. But none until I finished my inedible and too sour (I tasted the actual white vinegar seriously) tom yum soup. The beef tasted rubbery and obviously not fresh. Been cooked numerous times coz it's rubbery??!
I didn't bother to finish the tom yum. Went up to get my spring roll which is almost cold ( I thought it was freshly cooked that's why I waited). Looks ok but cold and inedible.
The worst experience and worst visit i had in my entire life. The staff made me feel not welcomed as a consumer and felt I was a bother.

7 tiny slices of beef for my Tom yum soap order.
4 tiny pieces of tomatoes, broth was salty no Tom yum flavor.
My bowl was broken so the soup leaked.
I should have checked the reviews next time.
They didn't even give me a bag for the take out.
Lady cooked the noodles faster than McDonald's can put order. Like someone else said no care in making the food.

I would like to express my disappointment regarding my experience today at your location in Fairview Mall around 4:00 PM.
I ordered a green curry chicken meal with eggplant and rice. First, the meal was served in a box even though I specifically asked for a plate. (They said it’s not available right now)., More importantly, the chicken did not taste fresh and had an unpleasant smell, and the rice was very dry.
When I asked to replace the meal, the staff agreed, and I exchanged it for a Pad See Ew dish with beef and broccoli. However, it felt as though the staff were upset by my request. The second dish I received contained mostly noodles, with no beef and no broccoli at all.
What upset me even more was the way I was treated. When I came back to pick up the replacement meal, I politely said “thank you very much” to the employee who prepared it. Instead of responding respectfully, he practically threw the food toward me and replied “yeah, yeah, yeah” in a very rude and dismissive manner.
I approached the staff again and explained that I had not eaten the food because of the poor quality, but they did not seem concerned at all.
This experience was extremely disappointing and honestly embarrassing as a customer. I am attaching a photo of the second dish for reference.
I hope you will look into this matter seriously and improve both the food quality and customer service at this location.

We had a great experience at Thai Express located in Fairview Mall, North York, Toronto. The food exceeded our expectations, and we were genuinely impressed by the quality and freshness of everything we ordered.
We tried two dishes: the rice noodles and the fried rice chicken curry. Both were absolutely delicious. The rice noodles had a wonderful texture—soft yet slightly chewy, with a savory flavor that wasn't overly salty. The fried rice chicken curry was equally satisfying, with chicken pieces, fragrant jasmine rice, and a rich, well-balanced curry seasoning. You could tell the ingredients were fresh, and the dishes were prepared with care rather than feeling like typical fast-food fare.
For a food court setting, Thai Express delivers surprisingly authentic and flavorful Thai cuisine. The portions were generous, the service was quick and friendly, and the value for money was excellent. If you're shopping at Fairview Mall and craving something tasty and satisfying, this spot is definitely worth a visit. We left happy and would gladly return on our next trip to the mall.
