Located right in the basement of the North American Centre with a direct connection to Finch Subway Station, Thai Express is my absolute go-to for fresh and delicious Thai food. The staff here are wonderfully kind and welcoming, and the restaurant features cozy seating if you want to dine in. Their Pad Thai, basil fried rice, and crispy spring rolls 🥟 are always piping hot and so yummy. I’ve noticed they include a fortune cookie on the house whenever I grab takeout, which is a lovely touch! Quick tip: If you download and use their app to order ahead and register for their rewards program, you can snag great perks like a $10 birthday discount offer, which often comes with a flexible window of dates to claim it. They are open Monday through Friday from 11:00 AM to 10:00 PM (closed on weekends), making it the perfect spot for a quick lunch or an easy dinner on your way home. Highly recommended!

I ordered a green curry and got a bunch of hard, raw vegetables in a little cocounut milk over some white rice. There was no curry or curry flavour. The other time I ordered a tom yum soup and it was again really poorly seasoned ad there was barely any soup (it was just this giant clump of noodles). I don't really understand the point of buying food if I have to go home and season it myself to make it edible.
