  I used to come here with my partner and really enjoyed their truffle fries, avocado toast and RH burgers. I was hoping to share this with my friend, but it seems like the menu has changed, they no longer serve the avocado toast (only weekends). So we decided to order salad. But was disappointed because I did not know how to eat a half cut lettuce on my small plate. Service was still great, but $22 for green beans, and lettuce …? No thank you.

  RH Courtyard Café is honestly one of my favourite spots to go after shopping at Yorkdale ( after the cheesecake factory of course , I go here when they are full ) The atmosphere feels super classy and luxurious. Between the the open light concept , chandeliers, marble tables and calm vibe, it’s the perfect place to sit down, relax and feel a little fancy after walking around all day. . I’ve been here a few times now and the portions are actually pretty large compared to a lot of “aesthetic” restaurants. Everything tastes fresh and filling, not just pretty for photos. The truffle fries are sooo good every time crispy, well seasoned and addicting I order them every time . . The grilled shrimp has a nice garlicky smoky flavour and tasted so fresh with some lemon I always have to get it . The steak was so juicy and cooked really well. The carpaccio was super thin and light . The salad is nothing special but still good if you’re in the mood for something refreshing and light . Their drinks are also really nice for catching up with friends or having a cute little girls day. The whole experience just feels elegant and relaxing. Overall I’d definitely recommend RH Courtyard Café if you want a pretty upscale lunch spot after shopping in Yorkdale 🥂✨

  Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, especially for the price. Our bill came to approximately $400 for four people, including one child under 11 about $100 per person and the quality did not match the cost at all. The biggest issue was that several of the dishes, and even some of the plates themselves, had a strong fishy smell, which was extremely off-putting and made it difficult to enjoy the meal. For the amount charged, we expected much better quality, freshness, and overall attention to detail. To make matters worse, we were informed of a $25 cake-cutting fee, which already felt excessive given the overall experience. When concerns were raised, the manager’s response was essentially that if we didn’t like the fee, we could leave. That level of customer service and lack of professionalism was honestly shocking. Overall, the experience did not justify the pricing, and we left feeling extremely disappointed.

  My boyfriend and I visited last night without a reservation and were pleasantly surprised to be seated right away. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the thinly sliced A5 wagyu. Everything was excellent, though we found the wagyu slightly too sweet for our taste. When we mentioned this to our server, they were incredibly kind and professional, apologizing and having it remade for us at no additional charge. The level of service truly stood out. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The ambiance was lovely, the food was enjoyable, and the staff here went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Thank you for such a great evening!

  We dined at RH about a year ago and had a fantastic meal and exceptional service. Last night we returned but were far less impressed. The menu has changed and prices have increased. In addition many items that previous included sides now don't and they are an extra charge. We had the Burrata last visit and it was amazing. This time it did not come with the grilled bread which was an extra charge. I had the chicken last time which was amazing in presentation and taste. This time the presentation, portion and taste were not as good....and it was more expensive. My son ordered the steak frites. He wanted to substitute the frites for truffle frites. Instead of an 'up' charge (which we would have expected) they charge the full price of the truffle frites ($22) for the substitution. Food quality continues to be good but value for $ is not nearly the same. Service was friendly but was very slow. Our server did comp our first round of drinks which was nice. That said, I am not sure we would dine here again based on the new prices.
