Fresh Kitchen + Juice Bar has become one of my favourite lunch spots during the workweek, and there's a good reason I keep coming back.
As a vegan, I really appreciate having a restaurant that offers a great variety of plant-based dishes without having to compromise on flavour or quality. The location is also fantastic, right across from the park, making it a perfect excuse to step away from my computer, enjoy a walk from the office, and take a proper lunch break.
The atmosphere is another reason I enjoy coming here. It's never overwhelmingly busy or noisy during lunchtime, and I've always been able to find a table without a reservation. It's a comfortable space where you can relax and enjoy your meal without feeling rushed.
What really makes this location special, though, is the service, particularly from Brianna. She's consistently friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. She remembers me as a regular customer, including the little details of how I prefer my dishes prepared. She's always happy to help me explore different menu options and regularly checks in to make sure everything is enjoyable, whether I need additional spices, napkins, or adjustments to my meal.
That level of personal attention makes a real difference. It's not just about serving good food, but making customers feel recognised and appreciated.
The food is consistently delicious, the prices are reasonable for the quality, and the overall experience is exactly what I look for during a lunch break.
I highly recommend this location, especially for anyone looking for flavourful plant-based food, a relaxed atmosphere, and genuinely thoughtful service. A special thank you to Brianna for making every visit such a pleasant experience!

The best way to describe food here is that all ingredients get an amazing level of TLC. Hummas plate wasn't just about the hummus, but the cherry tomatoes were sweet and the pita dusted with an amazing spice blend. The soba in my bowl had its own subtle flavour amongst the main ingredients, where other places would just treat noodles as a basic base. Even the quinoa onion rings were divine (and I don't really care for onion rings!).
I invited 5 colleagues and the space was perfect for relaxed conversation and great company. Staff were wonderful too.
Now I'm off to buy a Fresh Cookbook. I'm converted!!!

I ordered a $70 take out this weekend, and I just keep getting disappointed by the results. I have been coming to fresh for years, all of their locations, and I have been finding this year the quality in food and service has just been going down.
I ordered tacos without tomatoes on the app and they came with a lot of tomatoes. I asked for it to be remade and they didn’t offer me a refund. I then had to wait for it to be remade when preordered as I was heading to work and was leaving time to eat before my shift.
Then I get my taco that is remade and I open it to find hardly any lettuce or greens in one of my taco and little pieces of tomato. I paid $17 for these tacos and they just pulled the tomatoes out rather than remaking it completely.
My wrap that I asked for no tomatoes in it had no tomatoes so why did my tacos? What if I was allergic to tomatoes? What is the point of the modification button if they don’t double check the order ticket?
The lady at the counter was very nice and tried to help me when I was frustrated, but I wish she would have been able to authorize a refund for my inconvenience or asked her manger.
I wasn’t going to leave a review but then saw my remade taco that had little pieces of tomatoes left.
Last time I went to fresh for takeout I asked for 50/50 wings and got all buffalo too. So the quality has just been down hill for a while.
I want to keep supporting as all the other vegan places are closing and I have a dairy allergy that I don’t have to worry about when ordering at Fresh. But the price vs the quality is getting out of proportion.
All my other food in my order was decent. But I was just very put off by this interaction.

Whenever we stay in downtown Toronto, we always make a point of having a meal at Fresh Kitchen and Bar. Being such an awesome vegan- and vegetarian-friendly restaurant makes choosing a meal so much easier for us.
On our most recent trip, we stopped in for brunch, and once again, we were not disappointed. Our server, Dany, was fantastic and made some great recommendations while we were deciding what to order.
I started with the Glow juice and had Mom’s Breakfast Sandwich. The home fries were absolutely awesome!
My partner had the Smashed Avocado Toast with the daily soup. I also tried a latte with coconut milk, and everything was delicious.
The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, and Dany really made our visit enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back on our next trip to Toronto!

Such a re-freshing experience. A must if you are a local or.just visiting. The 9 layer burrito was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this item. The side salad was also nice. My partner got the Ultimate cheeseburger with fries. The bun was a bit dry and too dense. But the grain burger was very flavourful. Likely won't get this again but the menu is large and we plan to go back. We asked for hot sauce and got their homemade sauce that was very unique. A Scotch Bonnet base with Indian spices. Very nice combination. But the highlight was the quinoa onion rings. Comes with chipotle mayo. This was sooo good. And if you go at happy hour 3-5, this is one of the appi features. Definitely get the onion rings. They don't disappoint. Margarita's are nice. No salt rim unfortunately, so if I could change one thing, it would be to ask for a salt rim next time.
