  I ordered the molcajete and it was not good, it was to tangy, the tortillas were breaking,and not warn enough. On the other hand, I have to say that it got me really uncomfortable the fact that most of the waitress were dressing up like they are providing other type of service if you know what I mean, I could see the glutes of many of them. As a woman, it is really uncomfortable when you are accompanied by your partner and I don't think is appropriate. I understand that they want a good tip, but they can definitely have a good tip if they provide a good service without presenting themselves almost naked.

  Disappointing Experience at Añejo, Shops at Don Mills Unfortunately, my experience at Añejo at Shops at Don Mills was disappointing. Service The restaurant was almost empty when we arrived, with only one or two tables occupied. After being seated, we waited around 10–15 minutes without anyone approaching us. Despite several staff members being around, nobody came to take our order. We eventually had to ask a staff member what was going on and whether someone was going to come and serve us. Only then did someone apologize and say they would send a server. A staff member eventually came to take our drink order, but shortly afterward, another server arrived and told us he would be taking over our table. The whole situation felt disorganized and unprofessional, especially considering how quiet the restaurant was. Thankfully, our eventual server was polite and friendly, and the service improved after that initial frustrating experience. Food and Drinks The menu was quite limited, with only a small selection of tacos and not much variety. However, I knew what kind of restaurant I was visiting, so that was not my main concern. We ordered guacamole to start, and that was definitely the highlight of the meal. It was freshly prepared at our table by a friendly staff member and was genuinely delicious. Unfortunately, the rest of the meal did not live up to that first impression. I ordered a mango margarita, but I did not enjoy it and could not even finish the drink. The tacos were equally disappointing. While I understand that tacos are not meant to be large, the bigger issue was the flavour. I love Mexican food and was looking forward to enjoying some authentic Mexican flavours, but these tacos lacked the seasoning and vibrant flavours I was expecting. Overall, they tasted rather bland and uninspiring. I have visited the other Añejo location near St. Lawrence Market and really enjoyed the food there, so I came to this location with similar expectations. Unfortunately, the experience at Shops at Don Mills was a disappointment. The tacos lacked the flavour and seasoning I had enjoyed at the other location, which made the difference particularly noticeable. Overall Experience The delicious guacamole and the friendly staff member who prepared it deserve credit. Our eventual server was also polite and friendly. However, these positives were not enough to make up for the poor initial service, disappointing margarita, and underwhelming tacos. Given my previous positive experience at the other Añejo location, I was particularly disappointed. Unfortunately, based on this visit, I would be hesitant to return to this location.

  🌮 What a fantastic experience! The tacos are absolutely fantastic, the atmosphere feels like a Mexican fiesta, and the energy is contagious! And what really makes this place special is the service. Armando was simply outstanding, friendly, attentive, and genuinely wonderful! The kind of service that turns a great meal into a memorable experience. Delicious food, amazing vibes, and exceptional hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!

  It's a nice place with nice selection of drinks and food. We mostly go for the Tacos - the happy hour is an excellent deal! The tacos are tasty (the beef I think is our fav) - but the tortilla they use tends to fall apart very quickly. The service is a bit slow, our server seemed like is moving in his own world, but they were all nice and pleasant. The drinks are great - again, happy hour is a great deal if the timing works. We also took the table-side made Guac - excellent and a nice large portion.

  Went today for happy hour and It was horrible. The girl at the front of the house was so nice to us after greeting and seating us. However? After we got seated everything went downhill. The waiter comes and takes our order and we ordered tacos. He did not ask what kind of tortillas we wanted and he didn’t ask if we wanted any sour cream or salsa on the side. The food comes and it was soooo dry. I asked the same waiter who’s a bald asian guy if I can have sour cream annd salsa. he brought it after 15 mins, after I am on my last taco because I got tired of waiting and there was no one to even wave down. After we ate, we waited for our bill for 20 minutes. The restaurant wasn’t even busy. My friend and I had to get up and look for someone to pay. Other tables around us did the same. Horrible experience and the fish tacos were so oily and dry. The flour tortillas were very hard to bite as well. Wouldn’t come here again.
