  Service was really nice ver friendly, fast and efficient! We were showed the whole menu from top to bottom. Atmosphere is really cool. Food was presented very nice! Flavour was very good but definitely leans more on the elevated pallet. Overall, mass appealing!

  Generally, everything was very good. Wouldnt say it was the best Mexican ive had but overall, ok. - tableside guac: tasty, mixed at your table which is a nice touch. For us, too much avocado and not enough of the rest including onions and jalepeno. Still very tasty. - beef birria: hot and fresh, consommé also very good. Tacos were toasty and hot to the touch. Prob was they were hard to open to insert the side onions, cilantro, etc. Note about parking as the main lots are a bit of a walk if you have elderly with you. Resto washrooms are down a flight of stairs but they do offer an elevator. Overall, was pretty good. Would i go back, perhaps.

  The food itself was good, but unfortunately the overall experience was pretty disappointing. We had a reservation for 7:30, but our table still wasn’t ready when we arrived. Once seated, the restaurant was extremely loud and also very cold, which made it hard to actually enjoy the meal. The biggest issue was the service. Our server was basically non-existent throughout the night, and our food came out at different times. When my food arrived, I didn’t have utensils, and it took way too long to get anyone’s attention. I asked another server, who said “yes, one minute,” but then never came back. I asked another server after that, and he said he couldn’t get me utensils but would find my server. At that point, it just felt ridiculous. I ordered the quesabirria, which tasted good, but the presentation was messy and the limes were so dry there was basically nothing to squeeze out of them. Overall, the food was decent, but a bunch of little things added up and made the experience pretty shitty. I was honestly expecting better, especially with the current 4.5-star rating on Google. The service really did not live up to that.

  Shoutout to Salomon for going above and beyond. I don’t like cilantro and he made sure to take it out for me before making our table side guac, which was honestly so thoughtful. He also gave us the best recommendations on the menu and made the whole experience feel super welcoming. We’re definitely coming back, but only if we get served by him again! The ambience here is amazing, really lively but still cozy, the food is seriously so good and the service even better! Also the happy hour is such a steal, tacos are super cheap, tequila shots are 1/2 off, and the $7 margaritas? So good. I’m kind of obsessed with their margaritas now 💗💗💗

  We had a fantastic experience at Añejo, and a big part of that was thanks to our server, Salomon. He was incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire meal. The service was amazing he made sure we were comfortable, answered all of our questions with patience, and gave great recommendations. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, which made the whole evening even more enjoyable. The food was also excellent, and Salonon really helped us navigate the menu so we could make the most of it. Overall, it was a great experience, and we truly appreciated the level of care and attention Salonon provided. We’ll definitely be back!
