I am writing to formally express my frustration and disappointment with my recent visit. The service was unacceptable from start to finish, as we waited over 30 minutes just to receive tacos, which is completely unreasonable. Just as we were about to cancel the order due to the excessive wait, the tacos were finally served. During that time, we were unable to find a server anywhere to assist us, and there was essentially no service provided at all. This made the entire experience extremely inconvenient and frustrating, and it fell far below expectations. I am very disappointed and hope you take this complaint seriously and make immediate improvements

Went here on Sunday and it was far busier than usual. The place looked understaffed and our server took a long time to take our order.
Portion sizes have reduced significantly. Corn tortillas looked smaller and the guacamole for the table is far too little for $17.
The biggest disappointment was the Molcajete Vegetariano. A single piece of grilled cactus in a dish where it’s the top listed ingredient. The vegetarian version is simply the meat option minus the beef, chorizo and chicken… same base, less food, yet still a premium price. Worse, the receipt charged it as Molcajete de Carne at $31, not the $23 listed on the menu. Billed for a meat dish I didn’t order and didn’t receive.

I am very disappointed with the service we received, especially since we were celebrating my friend’s birthday and expected the experience to feel special. Unfortunately, our experience was not good for several reasons:
1. Our drinks arrived very late — they were served after the main course.
2. Two of the main dishes arrived almost 30 minutes late.
3. The ribs were served cold.
4. Our server was not attentive and rarely checked on our table to see if we needed anything.
Overall, the experience did not meet our expectations, especially for such a special occasion.

Had such a fun happy hour tasting at Añejo Restaurant! We tried four different margaritas ($7 each):
1. Mango with habanero Tajín rim
2. Guava with clementine cinnamon sugar rim
3. Chili coconut with habanero Tajín rim
4. Blood orange with clementine cinnamon sugar rim
My favorites were the guava and chili coconut. The guava margarita had a bold, authentic fruit flavor, while the chili coconut brought a great kick—spicy drink with a spicy rim (double spicy, in the best way).
The happy hour tacos ($4 each) were generously filled and served on corn tortillas. We tried braised beef, pork carnita and crispy fish . Everything tasted fresh and satisfying.
Overall, I was really happy with the atmosphere, service, and the quality of both food and drinks. A great spot for a fun and flavorful happy hour!

Went for happy hour (starts at 10pm), half off margs, tequila shots, tacos.
Tequila and margs drinks all tastes super diluted so that was really disappointing.
I even got 1 drink before happy hour started and it also tasted diluted.
Tacos were good. Got the fish (yum) and the mushroom one (it was okay, it felt lackluster but the walnuts on it was okay). Friends looooved the beef one
Guac for the table was also good. They make it at the table.
It was sooo busy and loud inside. They blast the music.
Service was slow at the beginning but understandable with how crowded it was inside. When it calmed down a bit, service was on top of it.
You just can't be shy about flagging your server down if it gets that busy. :)
I got a handful of drinks and 3 tacos for like $55? After tax and tip? Great for a night out, especially along King st in Toronto
Great for large tables but it gets crowdedddd
