We had an underwhelming experience eating at Añejo.
Food: guacamole was pretty good, but the tacos (beef, chicken and fish) were under seasoned and overcooked to being dry
Drinks: reasonably priced margaritas but they were weak/small
Atmosphere: we sat outside and there was no music/atmosphere. We were right by the street and had homeless people trying to speak to us while we were eating.
Service: we had eaten a whole course before we were even given napkins/cutlery.
We would not recommend or return here unfortunately

Had to come here and write a review for one of the best servers I have ever had, Lena. She was absolutely incredible. This was our first time dining here for a girls night and Lena made us feel so welcomed! She was bubbly, so funny, and just a delight. She gave us great recommendations (that queso dip omg mouthwatering just thinking about it) and took such good care of us. Anejo is definitely added to the girls night rotation and we hope to have her again!

I am a regular customer and I went to Añejo on Friday August 7th. The food was incredible, the patio seat awesome, but the service was mediocre 😕. Our server Ainsley was clearly struggling having a full section, so her service was poor in terms of checking on us for water or ordering something else. We had to keep trying to catch her when she was around to ask for additional stuff. It has been the second time I got bad service at this location, last time from another server, I didn't want to make a comment about it but I felt it was necessary.

I was really disappointed with my first visit. I ordered a margarita, and it was horrible—it didn't taste good at all. To make matters worse, I didn't even receive my drink until the end of the meal.
I also had the two beef tacos, which were just okay, especially for the nightly special. The fish tacos were definitely the highlight of the meal and were the only thing I really enjoyed.
I was especially disappointed with the tableside guacamole. It was advertised as being made tableside, but it wasn't, which was a letdown.
The restaurant was busy, but it didn't seem busy enough for the service to completely forget about us. Overall, the food and service didn't live up to the expectations, and unfortunately, my first experience wasn't a great one.

Went in on a Sunday afternoon with my fiancé, arrived at 2:45 pm specifically to catch happy hour at 3:00. We’re regulars here, we’ve been to this place more than 20 times, so we know the happy hour timing well.
The waitress took our order at 2:59 pm, one minute before happy hour started. We ordered 4 drinks and an appetizer. When the bill came, 2 of the drinks were charged at full price because the order was technically placed before 3:00, while the other 2 got the happy hour rate. She never mentioned this at the time, if she had, we’d have gladly waited 60 seconds. Instead, we found out only when the bill arrived.
A simple heads-up like “happy hour starts in a minute, want me to hold the order?” would have completely avoided this. It was especially disappointing given how often we’ve dined here without any issues before. Overall, it felt like poor service rather than a simple mistake, and it left a bad taste after what was otherwise a decent visit.
