- CFCarol Fobister1 day ago1.0Waited 45 mins for our drinks. Another 20 mins for our food. Waitress was down right rude. She slammed our drinks on the table and threw our straws at us. She yelled at us and had a very condescending attitude. I told her I used to be a waitress and she says I doubt that. She told us never to come back. And I won’t be! Poor service for sure!!

- DWDarren W4 days ago1.0We ordered 3 family meals from this restaurant. When we got home we found items missing from all 3 meals were we were missing sides, dips, and the deserts. After contacting them via phone they offered us a free quarter chicken meal. Which was much less then the total cost of the items missing. He explained that was all he could offer without us talking to a manager. So the next day we came back talked to the manager (Amulya). She was very professional and kind and offered 1 family meal compliments on our next visit for take out or dine in. So today we decided to come dine in for our meal. We were seated and made our order. After an 95 minutes later our food came out. Everything was okay. But not once were we checked in on or offered refills. We ate until our youngest got restless so we asked the front staff for boxes to go and the receipt for the 1 appetizer and 3 drinks we ordered extra. The bill came with the free meal on the receipt we explained to the waiter that the manager told us it was complimentary because of the mistake with our take out order. She apologized and said she will check with the manager. That's when this rude loud women came to our table (Michelle) demanding to know why in the world she would comp our meal. We explained that we talked to a manager but she assured us she was the only manager and no one else could authorize that. After mentioning the first managers name she disappeared into the back to check something never to return. She sent the waitress back to tell us the first manager was the General manager and no one told them anything. It doesn't excuse Michelles behavior and she wasnt even professional enough to explain the mix up or offer an apology at all. Terrible experience all because of Swiss Chalets terrible Manager Michelle. Can't recommend this place at all.

This was our first time ordering online. While we were waiting there were 4 different groups (about 15 people) waiting to be seated. The tables looked to be less than half full so there was plenty of space for them. One of those groups was seniors sitting in uncomfortable chairs for who knows how long. The server told me that the kitchen was busy and I replied, “that’s fine but these people would probably much prefer being seated at a table while they wait rather than being stuck in the lobby.” Also, we ordered our food about 40 minutes ahead of time and we still had to wait 20 minutes for our food to be ready when we got there.

My only complaint is that the last few takeout orders have been missing the classic dipping sauce and butter packets. Other than that, we always enjoy our meals! Please include the condiments for to go orders!
