  Food was great and staff was awesome and super nice the only thing is that the rice was drenched with a lot of sauce which made it very sweet and I personally would rather a more balanced meal with less sauce

  Be very careful with this location. Today was a terrible experience. Not sure if it was an attempt at a money grab from this employees. I have been stopping here for a few years now whenever I’m in Sudbury. Always order the same, pad Thai, and Thai fried rice. (The one with tomatoes and pineapple). Always have been the same. Here, Toronto, Ottawa, anywhere. Never been a problem. Today at this Sudbury mall location however, I was told this was not in the menu. That I had to pay extra if I wanted those ingredients added. Lucky for me, they happened to have them even thought they’re not part of the menu… but again, they kept saying I had to pay extra. I asked if the menu changed cuz I’ve been getting this for years and they said I was wrong and this has never been a thing. Even the guys cooking jumped in and told me I was wrong, defending the cashier. They were very firm telling me how wrong I was and that that’s NEVER been in the menu. But also kept stressing how willing they were to make it since, again, they just happened to have those ingredients and can add them but it would cost extra AND with a “generous tip” as well for doing me a “favour”. They even implied I was crazy and that all those years I’ve been getting those items, many times being here at this mall location, were in my head. So I chose to just get food somewhere else as I had my young daughter with me and preferred not to tell them what was on my mind in front of her. I did however, take some photos of the menu on the screen before I left. Funny how they said I’m crazy for ordering noodles, and some chicken fried rice with tomato and pineapple, which they claimed doesn’t exist. But for some reason seems to be there in the menu… Do they not realize people can read?!? Sounds to me like they were just trying a new scam or money grab just out in the open. Safe to say I’ll have to find another restaurant to get fast food here in Sudbury. I’ll get my Thai Express at Toronto or Ottawa locations, but probably never at this one again.

  I sometimes order chicken fried rice from but recently, but the price has gone up really high. Used to pay like 12-14 bucks now it’s 17-18. But the amount of food remains same.

  Good service and decent value for the money, however the rice noodles they serve have an awful combination of properties that makes it very annoying and slow to eat. I couldn't easily pull them out of the pile because they were too sticky and I couldn't bite through them because they were too small and tough and slipped through gaps between my teeth. With every bite I would spend 5 seconds too long getting a bite and another 5 seconds trying to either slurp up the stragglers, gnaw my way through them, or spit them out. If they had different noodles it would be an easy recommendation.
