    Update: My mother met with the manager this am, 12hrs later, and she was refunded the 100% tip. Just a public service announcement. My 80 yo mom went to subway to get supper for the family. Mom went to pay with debit and made a mistake when entering the tip she placed the total cost of the order. The bill 35.11 and she entered that as a tip. When she checked the receipt it said $70.22 ….she said oh dear I didn’t mean to do that. The server said well the transaction is complete and we don’t give refunds. Another customer said that’s unfair. The server said well I will have to call the manager but I don’t know when I will get time. Mom got flustered and admits it’s her mistake but they refused to help fix the problem. The server said well I will see what the manager says later. I would encourage you to consider whether this is the kind of business you want to support. I won’t be back.
