    I ordered on my phone before starting to drive to do a pickup about 45 minutes later. My local restaurant on Danforth Ave and its Staff and Manager are always fantastic whether I'm taking out or eating in. They are always cheery and welcoming, the Manager stops to speak with diners when eating in, and the food is always prepared very well, and quickly! I also wanted the rice "side" that was listed on the app a few months ago, but I understood it was only available for a limited time. But the location told me a few weeks ago I can ask to have it as a "substitute as a side" in place of one of the regular choices, in the special requests section on the app order when I want it, and they can still provide it as they've had a really good response on it and continue to provide it when asked! It's a very tasty side choice and I wish the head office would add it back on the mobile app permanently though and I'm sure other locations would do well with it too. It's a very tasty choice! I also want to ask the Head office to please bring back the really tasty beef permanently too! Special Thx to the Danforth location Manager and Staff being so accommodating and service oriented!

    I really love swiss chalet, because it feels like home food, also mong several locations this is my favorite, even when I have moved out from that area, i still come from time to time

    Server are so professional with excellent customer service, very pleasant , & friendly especially when we go regularly, some of them always remember what we normally order. We are very impressed and they are the main reason we keep coming back to the restaurant a couple times a week. Unfortunately we were recently informed that the corporate office decided to take the Seasonal rice out of the menu. We are very disappointed. First the sweet potato fries which the kids love now the seasoned rice !?!?! Maybe the corporate office doesn’t know that there are a lot of customers who love Swiss Chalet seasoned rice as many as those who like fries?! This will really decrease the number of customers and/ or sales. After over 3 decades, we’ve been going to Swiss Chalet for a family’s weekly gathering. We are going to have to start looking & going somewhere else for a good & family oriented restaurant who serve seasoned rice & sweet potatoes fries somewhere else? Very disappointing. After all the great things we’ve been experiencing at Swiss Chalet and called it our family’s restaurant?!

    What a joke of a strip mall! No signs saying the parking belongs to Swiss Chalet, yet the owner calls parking enforcement to ticket everyone! We came all the way from Winnipeg, and this is the welcome we get? Absolutely pathetic!

    We hesitate to reveal the truth about this location in case it gets even more crowded as a result. This is the best Swiss Chalet anywhere. The food is always top notch - ample, hot and delicious! And they go out of their way to ensure that you have what you want - they will bring onion rings and Pepsi Zero that are not on the Chalet menu from the adjoining Harvey’s. The owner must make a point of hiring staff with dynamic personalities. They are always smiling, cheerful and engaging. If you need quick service, they burst into action. If you want slow and relaxed, they will let you enjoy a long leisurely meal. Either way, they are attentive to your needs. The location offers family sized booths with benches that will easily accommodate 6. There are also smaller tables with chairs and the staff helps adjust furniture for customers in wheelchairs. They still provide finger bowls with hot water and a lemon wedge. These disappeared long ago at most locations. We travel past other Swiis Chalet restaurants to get to the Danforth and Danforth location. We stopped going to them because the food wasn’t as well prepared with dry chicken and cold fries, the sizes were skimpy, they were understaffed or the staff behaved like you were asking too much of them. This location still runs like Swiss Chalet was intended to when it all began - with high quality food and service. This is why we keep going. Yesterday our amazing server was Annie. But everyone is wonderful. We have yet to be disappointed. See you again soon!
