I had a disappointing experience at this McDonald’s drive-thru today.
I clearly ordered a Mango Pineapple Refresher with less ice and a Strawberry Sundae. I repeated the order twice, and the employee repeated it back correctly. When I arrived at the pickup window, I was handed a strawberry drink instead.
I politely explained that I had ordered a Mango Pineapple Refresher, not a strawberry drink. Unfortunately, there seemed to be a communication breakdown, and I felt that my concerns were being dismissed rather than addressed. Instead of simply replacing the drink, I was told to give it back and drive all the way around through the drive-thru again.
To make matters worse, the incorrect drink was filled with ice despite my specific request for less ice.
Mistakes happen, but what frustrated me most was the lack of customer service and the rude attitude when I tried to have the order corrected. I left feeling unheard and inconvenienced over what should have been a simple fix.
I hope management can focus on improving order accuracy, communication, and customer service, as this experience did not meet expectations.

I am extremely disappointed with the service at this McDonald’s location.
We visited the drive-thru around 12:30 a.m. and ordered a simple McChicken meal with large fries and a Coke Zero. We were the only car in the drive-thru when we arrived, yet the entire process took an unreasonable amount of time that it was around 10 more cars waiting by the time we left. The female employee taking our order seemed very confused about a coupon we were using and struggled to process what was a very simple order and its always the same employee everytime.
The biggest issue was the food quality. We specifically requested fresh food, but the large fries we received were not even filled properly and appeared old, cold, overcooked, and unsalted. We returned them and were given another batch almost immediately, which was exactly the same. We returned them again and were given another batch that was still not fresh. Even after multiple attempts, the fries continued to be disappointing. By the fourth attempt, they looked slightly better, but they were still not properly filled. I asked for refund but there was no response. At that point, we were tired of going back and forth and did not want to hold up the growing line of customers behind us.
The Coke Zero also tasted extremely bitter and watered down. We asked for a replacement, but the second drink tasted the same. When we mentioned that there might be an issue with the machine, we were simply told to choose another drink. We switched to a regular Coke, which was only slightly better. The McChicken was at least warm, but it did not taste particularly fresh either.
What makes this even more frustrating is that this is not an isolated incident. We have experienced similar problems at this location on previous visits. On one morning visit, we waited approximately 35–40 minutes for our order while multiple vehicles behind us appeared to be served before us. My husband was running late for work, and I eventually had to go inside to ask if our order had been forgotten. Another customer was also visibly frustrated by the delay. During that time, one employee was seen going outside periodically to collect waste and rubbish, while inside the kitchen appeared to be struggling to keep up with incoming orders. It seemed like the staffing priorities were not well managed for the level of demand at the time, and better coordination or role assignment could have helped improve service speed and efficiency.
I want to make it clear that this review is not intended to target any specific employee. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this McDonald’s is only a few minutes from our home, so it is a very convenient location for us, especially when we need a quick meal late at night or early in the morning. Unfortunately, when the same issues happen repeatedly over multiple visits, it becomes very frustrating.
I have also worked in the fast-food industry for many years, so I understand that mistakes can happen and that some shifts are busier than others. However, what we experienced was not a one-time mistake. Long wait times can happen, equipment can malfunction, and orders can occasionally be made incorrectly, but there should still be communication, quality checks, and a reasonable effort to resolve problems. Based on my experience in the industry, this is simply not the level of service or food quality that customers should be receiving on a regular basis. During our either visit, I did not see any manager step in to help resolve the issues despite multiple problems with our order. It would greatly improve the experience if the drive-thru was staffed with well-trained, efficient employees who can take orders clearly and handle peak or late-night hours more smoothly, as delays and miscommunication seem to be a recurring issue.
I genuinely hope management takes these concerns seriously because this location is in a great and convenient area.
