- SMSavannah MacDougallApr 30, 20261.0everytime i go into subway port elgin the workers yell at me for asking for more pickles. mind you i only get lettuce pickles and cucumbers so not a lot and im not even asking for that much. the manager and workers scream in my face telling me im not allowed to get that much and say the sub is gross and they tell me to go to mcdonald’s and get pickles there. since when is there a limit on subs. i’ve never heard of that. this is what he gave me one time when he got mad and threw a whole bunch of pickles on. the sub wasn’t even enjoyable

- SPSusan PollardMar 25, 20261.0like others have mentioned, my last few subs here have been very skimpy on toppings (I always order veggie). Last night, I went in for my usual veggie sub. My only ingredients were tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach and onions. Everything is sliced very thinly, so I asked for additional tomatoes. I was told that I am only allowed (I think he said) 5 slices. He did put on more as requested, but begrudgingly, and said that the next time he would charge me extra. After that, I didn’t bother to ask for extras of the cucumbers, spinach and onions (which were all very sparse), because he was clearly put off. I understand limiting toppings when people are asking for excessive amounts. However, this was a VEGGIE sub!!! I should be allowed to have some additional vegetables, not the amounts that they ration on MEAT subs. I have been a customer of this location for as long as it has been in business, but after this experience, I will not be returning.
