  I want to take the time to recognize Candace, one of the managers at this Pickering location, for her professionalism and excellent customer service. I recently had a slight issue with one of my orders and contacted the restaurant. Candace handled the situation thoroughly, professionally, and with genuine care. She listened, addressed the concern properly, and made the interaction feel respectful and customer-focused from start to finish. In today’s world, good customer service stands out, and employees like Candace are a major asset to a company like Swiss Chalet. Head office should absolutely recognize her professionalism, communication skills, and the way she represents the brand. Thank you, Candace, for handling the situation the right way. It was appreciated.

  Our server Matt had excellent service and made my mom’s birthday very special. For someone who works in the industry he was very professional and made our night! Ribs and quarter leg as well as desserts were very tasty. Will be coming back in the future :)

  We had such a great experience at Swiss Chalet thanks to our amazing waitress, Jirah. She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel so well taken care of from start to finish. She checked in at all the right times without ever being overbearing, and her warm, positive attitude really made our visit special. It’s not often you come across service that stands out this much, but Jirah truly went above and beyond. We left feeling so pleased with our experience and will definitely be coming back—hoping we’re lucky enough to have her again!

  We certainly haven't experienced what the hype was all about.... We couldn't even finish our chicken as it was tasteless and undercooked, the fries were soggy and the break was hard! Maybe they were having an off day 🤔 Unfortunately, the experience left a bad taste in our mouths and I really can't see us going there any time in the near future

  Soooooooo slooooow, should of listen to my gut feeling, leave and go somewhere else after waiting over 15 minutes for the server to show up at our table and another 30 minutes or so for the luke warm food to arrive. Chicken was good but the sauce was too thick and way too salty, rice was a little on the dry n hard side. Barely see our server, and at one point she did walked by with a tray of cutlery, without looking at any table, sat down, face away from everyone and started folding the cutlery. My son have to go over and ordered his dessert. To be honest, the whole restaurant need to be retrained, l can see why it's not busy at all, even with the $19.99 2 can dine special. I have been to many different locations, from Lindsay to Oshawa to airport to Markham..., this one is by far the slowest.
