  Pickle Barrel is one of my son's favorite restaurants! He ALWAYS gets pasta, and changes his sauce everytime and has loved all of them.. He's 11 years old. I love their whole menu, various options no matter dietary restrictions. Their MILKSHAKE..just try it!

  We had an amazing event at Pickle Barrel Pickering. The service by Gillian and Monique was exemplary for our large group of 40….prompt and enthusiastic. The appetizers we ordered for our group were served fresh and spaced out appropriately during our event. Shout out to manager Sarah who checked in with us throughout our evening to make sure our customer experience was top notch….IT SURE WAS! Highly recommend this location for your next gathering.

  Celebrated a family birthday here and the service and the food were great. Gillian attended to us and she was amazing. She even brought us out a complimentary birthday dessert that was so thoughtful and unexpected. Highly recommended!!

  ⭐ Extremely Disappointing and Unacceptable Service on Two Separate Visits Our family visited Pickle Barrel Pickering in December to celebrate my son’s 12th birthday. This used to be his favourite restaurant, but the experience was profoundly disappointing. We were ignored for long periods of time, and during that visit the server even turned his back to us while taking our order. My son left saying it was the worst restaurant experience he had ever had. I spoke with the manager on duty, the gentleman who works Tuesdays and Thursdays, hoping the concerns would be taken seriously. It is now evident that nothing changed. We returned again today because I promised my son that this visit would be different. Unfortunately, it was not. We were ignored once again. We ordered a drink that never arrived. No one checked in on us, and the service felt rushed, inattentive, and dismissive. The server appeared more focused on the bar than on the guests seated at his table. As a paying customer and as a mother simply trying to create a positive experience for her child, I was extremely dissatisfied. Experiencing this level of disregard on two separate occasions is unacceptable. After giving this restaurant a second chance, I can confidently say we will not be returning. The lack of improvement speaks for itself.

  Went for mother's day and I ordered from the feature menu(Cajun salmon linguine as main) and my son had the chicken pesto linguine. We also ordered coconut crusted shrimp and Mac & cheese poppers for apps. We got our soups( which were cold) before our apps. Our soups were taken and warmed up, mine was hotter, but my son's was still cold. Our apps came while we were still having our soups, followed 2 mins later by our main course. Our server Rahesh(not sure of spelling of his name), never once came by to ask how our meals were during the entire time we were there. I have been to the Puckle Barrel before and the service was always excellent. Unfortunately, this time was it was not.
