  Emmy served our table and she was lovely! Food was affordable and the portions were huge :). There’s unlimited soup, salad, and garlic bread and different daily deals throughout the weekdays. I recommend skipping the AYCE Monday (since it’s already a lot of food) and going on another day though 😅

  Salad and bread reliable and plentiful! Gnocchi appetizer was a bit bland. Cheese cappaletti was ok. Have been ordering it from ESM for 30 or so years. Recently found it served at Courtyard in Courtice - prefer it there in case you’re in the area. Minuscule size of the desert was laughable. Seating comfortable, decor nostalgic and we weren’t rushed out at all when staying to chat after finishing eating.

  Michelle and Mari were truly wonderful. They had their robot “Alfredo” deliver a birthday cake to my 3 year old son who was crazy about the robot. It meant a lot to us and we had a great experience. Michelle, the manager came to greet us personally and ensure we had a great time. This is truly a great family environment and I highly recommend coming here!

  I had a frustrating experience at East Side Mario’s, especially since it was my first time there. I didn’t know the all-you-can-eat soup or salad only comes with an entrée. When our waiter, Andrew (he had a broken arm), explained that, I offered right away to just pay for it. He told me not to worry about it, which I appreciated in the moment. But after that, things went downhill. We asked for a takeout bag before leaving. Which he then responded back to passive aggressively to give him a minute. Within the next two minutes we could see him intentionally standing nearby, watching the game and eating his own food while we were just sitting there waiting. That part didn’t sit right with me. It wasn’t a busy rush situation. It felt like we were being ignored. We were ready to leave and just needed something simple, and there was no follow-up at all. After waiting long enough, we gave up and left without the bag. For a first visit, it was disappointing. I expected better service than that. I will not be coming back because of this experience, and would not recommend anyone to come to this location either.

  Not happy with our experience tonight. The food was so bland and staff seemed confused. Food - Looked like they boiled pasta and threw in a few pieces of shrimp. There was no flavour and could have stayed home for that meal. Salad was poorly done and lettuce looked wilted. Seating with children - The girl at the front who sat us told us there were no high chairs left and gave our baby a booster seat which clearly a one year old would not sit on safely. The waiter magically found about 10 high chairs stacked high in the back and we sat him down. Would not go back. Food was bad, staff were not properly trained and for the price of our meal we could have ordered take out somewhere nicer.
