  Everytime I’ve come to this location they’re always low on everything and so stingy when making bowls and burritos. It’s disappointing to pay $15 for a meal and have them tell you they’re going to charge you double for one full scoop of queso after leaving my bowl half empty …

  It was my first time at this location and I was pleased with both the speed and service. I ordered online and was greeted as soon as I walked in. The staff at the counter checked on my order and confirmed it was being worked on. I ordered a steak and a honey chipotle chicken bowl. I received my order at the time promised which was around noon. Highly recommend and will be returning.

  Worst wrapped burrito I have had in a 25 year history of eating burritos. Loose so it falls apart on eating. My advice, put some effort in on tightening it up, folding the corners and rolling. It was not busy, just total lackadaisical carelessness from maker or poor training. It has been a while since I chose Chipotles given their headlines so that was an added disappointment.

  The food was tasty and the service was good but it came at a grave cost. A cost far beyond something I could imagine. I walked into this establishment starving. Hoping to find a healthy high protein option. I’ve heard great things about chipotle in the past, so I was very eager; A sensation of excitement started to stir within me. As I walked in, the young man behind the counter was kind, I could tell he was training but even so his hospitality was there. His recommendation on how to build my bowl for maximum flavour was on point. This bowl was looking amazing, they packaged it with care and bagged it up for me. I left the store with such hope that my hunger pains would be dealt with swiftly as soon as I got home. I devoured the bowl… little did I know this would be the end of me. Later that day, I headed into work but something sinister was happening behind the scenes. A normal work day soon turned in a survival game. That ever so tasty chipotle bowl brought me into the bathroom fighting the ever so iconic ring of fire. As I grasped the porcelain toilet seat; A decision haunted my thoughts.. when the young man asked if I would like spicy or mild salsa. In that moment I knew the decision I made the wrong choice. It was a battle I lost. I left the bathroom 30 minutes later not just completely empty but drained of energy and hope. As I took my first few steps of freedom out of the bathroom. A sudden gurgle brewed within me… I knew in that moment the fight was not over. I swiftly returned to the seat in which has already taken my soul but now my hope dwindled that I would make it through the night. It felt as if the fire was being created within my own rectum. I write this review as warning, as much as the food is flavourful and the people are kind. It will ruin you.

  I planned to share my experience sooner, so that Chipotle Pickering would get it together. I was elated when Chipotle opened in Pickering. Unfortunately my experience has not been the best. My first order was okay- the food was a little salty, but I pushed through and was relatively satisfied with what I ordered. The second time is when I noticed that hey, actually I'm not enjoying my Chipotle experience. The serving area was messy, the server gave me very small portions compared to other locations I've been to. And when I asked her to correct it, she made the cashier charge me extra which is wild to me. And she was unfriendly. Now THIS is what tipped my boat- my husband brings dinner home from Chipotle Pickering- when I picked the container up I actually thought he ate some of it because it was so light! Or maybe he packed the salad separately so it wouldn't get soggy. Friends.. when I opened it, all is saw was 6 pieces of salad/lettuce (I kid you not), about a 1/4 serving spoon of INTENSELY salty chicken, lots of the mild tomato and lots of cheese. Wish I could upload a picture. I'm sooo disappointed Chipotle. Pickering and Ajax were dying for you to open here, and you've really missed the mark completely. More training needed, stop rationing the food, clean the service area more and I beg, less salt! Hopefully my next visit will be better.
