First time trying Chipotle and it exceeded my expectations. They were super generous with the portion sizes, we even asked for a little bit more rice as the bowl wasn’t full on the first scoop so they topped it up. All the toppings and meats are very flavourful. Everything you need in 1 bowl! She gave us a huge scoop of guacamole which was also a bonus! Definitely will be back

Absolutely amazing experience at Chipotle in Pickering! The staff were friendly, efficient, and made my order exactly how I wanted it. The ingredients were fresh, the portions were generous, and everything tasted delicious. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, making for a great overall experience. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this location to anyone looking for a quick, fresh, and satisfying meal!
Conveniently close to GoodLife in both locations in Pickering so it’s the perfect post-workout meal! They give generous portions too. So glad they opened one up at PTC. Also, shoutout to staff member Aedon, bringing excellent customer service and keeping the space clean and tidy. Won’t be the last time you see me here!
God knows how disgusted I am and unsatisfied with my recent order. Imagine working at 12 hour shift at the hospital coming home hungry and deciding to order Uber eats. You order Uber eats and you’re chewing your food to feel something in your mouth and you’re like “what is that???” only to pull out a long brown hair from your mouth?. that’s disgusting I’m sick. And obviously it’s not my hair. My hair is blue.. then to try and get a refund on Uber and they tell you that you’re not eligible a refund💀😭. Mind you I order food from this chipotle all the time. This is DISGUSTING.. I can’t even finish my food and I’m like two bites in…. waste of money. i’m questioning what are the hygiene ethics of the location? literally threw up this is so disgusting. I ordered everyone food and now everyone is questioning the quality of their meal and nobody wants to finish it. Waste of $85 dollars. and before u question “maybe it’s someone in ur house” sadly no everyone in the house has coloured hair. 😔🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

I was very excited to visit the new Chipotle location at Pickering Town Centre, especially since I'm a longtime fan and was thrilled to finally have one closer to home. Unfortunately, my first visit was disappointing.
I understand that new locations can experience growing pains and that busy periods happen, but cleanliness and food handling should still be a priority. During my visit, many visible surfaces appeared dirty. The takeout preparation area had food debris scattered around, several cooking surfaces had burnt food left behind, and there were crumbs and food residue on counters throughout the restaurant, including areas that were not actively being used.
While waiting in line, I also noticed ingredients running low and being refilled. While restocking is expected during busy periods, it appeared that fresh product was being added directly on top of existing product rather than replacing containers, which raised concerns about food rotation practices.
What surprised me most was that the restaurant did not appear to be short-staffed. There were approximately 8–10 employees working at the time. One employee came out and greeted customers, which was appreciated, but I also observed phone use while there was still a significant amount of cleaning and upkeep that seemed needed.
Because the kitchen and preparation areas are fully visible to customers, cleanliness issues are especially noticeable. First impressions matter, and unfortunately mine was not a positive one.
I do plan to give this location another chance because it's new and I hope these are simply opening-stage issues that will be addressed. I would encourage management to conduct spot checks and ensure cleanliness, food handling, and overall supervision standards are being consistently maintained. I truly want this location to succeed, but my first experience left me concerned.
