  i went into this location a few days ago and had such a nice experience!! my servers name was abby and she was the best, kept the bread coming, checked on us threw out our meals to see if we needed anything at all, and had a smile on her face the whole time! will definitely be back! thank you abby:)

  My husband and I went out for dinner at East Side Mario’s for our anniversary last Friday night. It was early and the restaurant wasn’t too busy yet. The service was fantastic. We were greeted by Diane as we entered and we stood and chatted with her and she seated us ,recommended some items for us to try. Our server was Tori. She took our Order and brought our drinks and bread right away. We told her that the Italian Wedding soup was our favourite… she advised that she would keep it coming lol. Our food was there in no time. We really enjoyed our meal. There was nothing negative about our experience at all. When it came time to pay for the meal my husband joked with Tori that we didn’t need the cheque that she could keep it - something that he has says every time we go out for dinner. So off she went to get us the hand held machine so we could pay. It was only a few minutes and she returned and told us that our bill had been taken care of. To our shock and disbelief! She advised that periodically she pays for someone’s bill just to be nice! We told her we were only kidding and that it surely wasn’t necessary and that we appreciated it but didn’t feel right not paying. She was adamant and wouldn’t let us pay. Well it certainly made our day. All I can say is that there really are nice people still out there in this world. This was a first for us.

  What a great way to spend your birthday with your family and loved ones. But also with the great staff at Eastside on Lansdowne in Peterborough. They really emulate the owner Diane’s personal touch in which I’ve had interactions with before. I’ve also dealt with the other manager’s Rupinder. He’s terrific with my son however, tonight topped the cake with the manager Chrissy, and Jay our server in which just gave terrific service and really made my son laugh. I highly recommend these people deserve a pat on the back for serving our wonderful community.

  Incredible service and food. Our waiter Micheal was incredible - he was so friendly and went completely above and beyond for me and my friend. He scored a couple extra breads for us and was always checking in to make sure we were all set. Thank you Micheal for making our experience so amazing!

  I went to East Side Mario’s on Landsdowne in Peterborough tonight and tried one of their new meals. It was NOT to my liking. Not the restaurants fault but a menu item that was not good. As the server took away my uneaten almost untouched meal and asked if I wanted a box and I said “no” as I didn’t care for it. My server mentioned it to the owner and the owner came offered her apology and refunded the greater portion of my meal. I said it was unnecessary but she insisted. I said I know how hard it is for small businesses but she wanted to ensure complete customer satisfaction. This was an incredible gesture and only reaffirms my faith in this location. I left the refunded portion as a “tip up” and the owner said that was great as the server would appreciate it. This is the same owner who I saw helping her staff, busing the table and greeting guests. A true real customer centric person and location.
