Get there and I'm told the digital coupon isn't accepted at the Penetanguishene Subway. Pardon me? I'm told by the lady taking my order that I need the printed coupon that came in my mail. My house/mail is an hour away so ... I start asking why Subway corporate does a promotion to get me to patronize Subway and now I'm told otherwise. She hasn't fully pushed my launch button yet. Then she offered to go call the manager because I'd come from far away. Off she went. Upon her return I was asked what kind of subs I wanted. Great, a wrong has been righted and I'm happy. Part way through building my subs she lets me know the manager approved the discount, because I came from so far away. Obviously but I was nice and just thanked her. I had a $5 bill in my hand awaiting already because she went the extra distance and I respect that. $14.99 for two was the deal. First sub rang in at full $11.99 retail. Fine Second sub came in at $8.00 to total $19.99 which is not the $14.99 total I was expecting. I was just mislead a second time by Subway. Remember that $5 bill in my hand. It stayed there. And for my trouble, I get to vent on Google while eating a sub. FYI a retail and corporate background tells that the only reason to require a physical coupon be redeemed is to avoid theft. So sad and too bad.

This store told me that I was limited to 3 toppings , and anymore than 3 would result in her charging me more. Bo other store in my whole history of buying subs have limited my toppings. Im talking lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, olives, pickles Not only that, she put a measly amount anx I had to ask for more with every ingredient. 6 tiny slices of pickles, like , REALLY?
