    We had a quick lunch at Thai Express Restaurant Ottawa, located in the CR Rideau Centre. Their menu features a selection of dishes like General Thai, Pad Thai, rice, noodles and various soups. We ordered the Pad Thai and chose chicken as protein with mild spiciness. This is a popular Thai street food consisting of stir-fried rice noodles with a savory sauce, egg and meat. The noodles tasted delicious but it was slightly ‘wet’ to our liking. Note: Just need to control the amount of sauce used and the dish will taste like authentic street food.

    It was my first time and last time. Chicken was soooo dry and hard like one or 2 days old . This is not acceptable for a franchise standard.

    I enjoyed the food and really liked the atmosphere—it was pleasant and relaxing. Unfortunately, the service was lacking and could be more attentive. With better service, this place would be much better overall.
