    Vale totalmente la espera de aproximadamente 1h40m. Llegamos a recepción y nos comentaron que tenían una lista de espera de 63 mesas, solicitamos una mesa y entramos a la lista mediante la app "open table" en la cual podíamos ir monitoreando en tiempo real el estatus de nuestra mesa; esto nos permitió hacer otras cosas mientras tanto. Cuando llegamos y nos asignaron la mesa; Sophie, la chica que nos atendió fue muy cordial, servicial y estuvo todo el tiempo atenta y al tanto de nosotros. La comida no se queda para nada atrás; para comenzar, ordenamos lasagna frita y camarones empanizados con frituras de pimiento... deliciosas ambas entradas!!! Y ni hablar de los platos fuertes: Tour de Italia, pasta carbonara, pasta Alfredo, macarrones con queso, spaguetti a la bolognesa, que incluían las famosas y deliciosas ensaladas y sopas (una de las dos a elegir) ILIMITADAS!!! Fuimos por el cumpleaños de mi marido y le ofrecieron de regalo un postre a elección; un tiramisu que tenía todo lo bueno que puede tener un pastel. Éramos una mesa de 4 adultos, 2 ados y 2 niños, pagamos 250 cad. Sin duda de las mejores experiencias culinarias que hemos tenido en mucho tiempo!!! 🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻

    Not worth the hype at all. The bread sticks are Ok, but are more like something from Costco than Italy. My wife ordered chicken and gnocci soup and it arrived with no gnocci. We mentioned this to the waitress and she said that "the soup has a 50% chance of having gnocci in it". The rest of the the table waited over 45 min for our food. We asked about our food, waited, asked again eventually asked for the food to go. We complained to two servers that we were not happy about the wait. I was told that it get's busy on Fridays. No consideration was offered on the bill. Yes it was busy but they had a ton of wait staff, many of whom were talking and joking with each other and not serving customers. Got home and opened up a redicously small portion for $32. We are going to Little Italy next time.

    I visited with my mom and siblings, and unfortunately, our overall experience was pretty disappointing. I completely understand that this location just opened in Ottawa, so some crowding and growing pains during the first few weeks or months are to be expected. However, the restaurant seemed severely understaffed, which made the experience much worse. Dirty plates remained on our table for a very long time—some from our appetizers were still there by the end of our meal. The food itself was also disappointing. The presentation wasn’t great, and the quality did not match what we expected. A lot of it tasted very processed and pre-made rather than fresh, almost like something that had simply been reheated. We also ended up having a fly on our breadstick. Thankfully we were given another batch as soon as it was brought up to an employee. That being said, a HUGE shoutout to our server, Sophia Z.! She was genuinely the highlight of our visit. Despite having to attend to multiple tables at once, she did her absolute best to make sure everyone was taken care of. She had such a lovely personality, checked in on us whenever she could, and was extremely accommodating when I wasn’t happy with my drink. The staffing situation was clearly beyond her control, and she handled everything with such a positive attitude. I really hope Sophia sees this because her effort did not go unnoticed. She is an amazing worker, and I wish her nothing but the best in all her future endeavours!

    The long wait was frustrating enough, especially watching people who arrived after us get served before us, but the waitress’s(Jordan) attitude made the experience even worse. From the moment she came to our table, she acted like serving us was an inconvenience. Every time we asked a simple question about the menu, she responded with an attitude that made it obvious she was bothered by us. We weren’t being difficult or asking for anything unreasonable, we were simply trying to order our food. Her attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in basic customer service. She made zero effort to make us feel welcome and seemed more interested in getting away from our table than actually taking care of us. The worst part was at the end. We paid, thanked her, and politely said “have a good night.” She couldn’t even give us the basic courtesy of a response. She simply walked away. Honestly Jordan, if you don’t want to interact with customers, customer service may not be the right job. Nobody expects a waitress to be overly cheerful, but treating customers like an annoyance and ignoring them when they politely thank you is simply disrespectful. The food could have been amazing, but rude service can ruin an entire dining experience. After this visit, I have no desire to come back.

    Went in for food, received a masterclass in awful service. Service was slow (almost nonexistent), food was forgotten, and we had a server who was chewing food while serving us. Masterclass experience: 1. The service starts strong… sort of. Things started off fine. Our server came to the table and asked what we wanted to drink. About the only good part of the night. When the drinks arrived, our server was actively chewing food and apologized, explaining that he had just eaten before coming to our table. He put two iced teas on the table, threw the straws down, told us to “fight for the straws,” and walked away. 2. The appetizer — only 45 minutes! Our appetizer finally arrived after about 45 minutes. Keep in mind, it was just the artichoke dip. Our server asked us twice if we wanted refills on our iced teas. We said yes both times. The refills never came. 3. The two-hour mark. Two hours into our dinner, the artichoke dip was still sitting on the table, our empty cups were still empty, and our mains had yet to arrive. We finally asked our server for an update. We were told that our food had been brought to the wrong table and that they were remaking it. 4. The cheese grinder saga. Eventually, the food arrived. The food itself was okay — we knew what to expect from Olive Garden. But naturally, the server forgot the cheese grinder. When we asked for it, he initially tried talking us out of getting cheese before eventually asking another server if he could use theirs. 5. The grand finale — paying the bill. At this point, we had been in the restaurant for about 2.5 hours. I asked to pay part of the bill with a gift card and the remainder on credit. Our server took the gift card… and vanished for another 20 minutes before finally bringing it back. Nearly 3 hours for mediocre food and absolutely awful service — and that doesn’t even include the wait for a table, which we were already expecting. What started as a must-try ended as a never again. Congratulations, Olive Garden Ottawa. This was truly a masterclass in how to turn a simple dinner into a three-hour ordeal.
