I ordered a burger combo and specifically asked for barbecue sauce on the side. When I received my order, the sauce had been put inside the sandwich instead. I went back through the drive-thru to let them know about the mistake. The employee told me she thought it was okay to include it in the sandwich, which I accepted. However, when I reached the window, the situation became uncomfortable. The employee handed me a small cup of barbecue sauce in a very dismissive and condescending manner, saying “Here.” When I asked to pay for it, she refused in a rude tone, insisting it was free, as if I was trying to get something without paying. I made it clear that I was willing to pay, but she continued to refuse and eventually handed me two sauces without any apology. The interaction felt degrading and unprofessional. I even went inside afterward to insist on paying, simply because of how uncomfortable the situation was. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of basic respect, courtesy, and professionalism is unacceptable. No apology was offered at any point. Very poor customer service. I hope management addresses this, because no customer should feel disrespected over something so minor.
