We tried the All-You-Can-Eat Ribs, and we absolutely loved them! The food was delicious, perfectly prepared, and definitely one of the best dining experiences we’ve had.
The interior was amazing—such a warm, inviting, and beautiful atmosphere. It made the whole dining experience even better.
A special shoutout to Kelly for the exceptional customer service. She was attentive, friendly, and made us feel very welcome.
Definitely a great place for ribs and a wonderful overall experience. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🥩❤️
Had a really good experience at Montana’s. Bobbi was our waiter and provided great service from start to finish. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was good throughout our meal. She was also very welcoming and easy to talk to, which made the whole experience even better. The food was great and the service definitely stood out. Really appreciate the effort Bobbi put in, and I’d definitely come back again.

⭐ 1 Star
Honestly, this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve had. The service was very poor from the beginning, and the staff were rude and seemed to have no interest in helping. We had to wait and ask multiple times for basic service, which was very frustrating.
Unfortunately, the food was disappointing as well. It did not taste fresh or meet the quality I expected from Montana’s. By the end of the meal, the poor service and disappointing food made the whole experience very unpleasant.

Unsafe Food Handling & Refusal to Refund — Uber Eats + Montana’s North Oshawa !!!! PHOTOS ATTACHED. ZERO STARS !!!! (SUN, JULY 26, 2026)
I placed an Uber Eats pickup order at Montana’s North Oshawa as an Uber One member. The restaurant was empty, yet my order was not started until I physically arrived — resulting in an additional almost 45+ min-long delay.
What I received was not acceptable under Ontario food‑safety standards. The food was packaged in a manner that raises serious concerns about compliance with the Ontario Food Premises Regulation (O. Reg. 493/17), which requires safe handling, sanitary packaging, and prevention of contamination.
- Mashed potatoes were placed in a large, clear plastic bag typically used for produce or frozen poultry.
- Chicken and vegetables were also stuffed into additional unsanitary looking sandwich bags.
- None of this packaging is appropriate for hot food, temperature control, or contamination prevention.
This is not safe food service, and it does not meet the minimum expectations for a licensed food establishment in Ontario. I am not willing to consume food that appears mishandled, improperly packaged, or potentially unsafe that could result in my health and safety.
Uber has refused to issue a refund and directed me to contact the restaurant aka Montanas. After eight attempts to reach Montana’s North Oshawa, I was told they would “contact Uber again,” there was no immediate resolution provided at all nor redund as apparently the manager was not on-site ...I am now awaiting a speedy resolution.
I am documenting this publicly because:
- The order was not prepared on time although they said the order "might be ready on the uber alert."
- The food was extremely poorly packaged in a manner inconsistent with food‑safety regulations,
- The product delivered was not fit for consumption,
- And both Uber Eats and Montana’s North Oshawa have failed to provide appropriate remediation.
I expect compensation for an order that was delayed, mishandled, and delivered in packaging that does not meet safe food‑handling standards. This is a reasonable request under Canadian consumer‑protection principles, including the right to receive goods that are safe, properly prepared, and of merchantable quality.
I will escalate this matter to the appropriate channels if necessary, including:
- Durham Region Health Department (re: food‑safety concerns),
- Ontario Consumer Protection (re: refusal to refund defective goods),
- And Uber Eats’ own Quality Assurance review process.
I am seeking a full refund for an order that was CLEARLY not prepared safely, not prepared on time, and not delivered in a condition suitable for customer consumption.

I will note that I finally after so many attempts got someone named Kelly on the phone who said she and her manager Tyler will resolve this ASAP. I look forward to hearing the solution on the above from the manager TYLER and KELLY promptly and also getting back my money and whatever compensation for how horrible of an experience this was.
