  I ordered a bowl with no meat. Only half of a scoop of beans was placed on it for protein. I had to ask for more at which point they added the other half of the scoop. I had to ask for lettuce which was kept below the counter. The bowl was only 2/3rds full at best. For $14 +, it was a disappointment.

  This was the first time ordering from here and the food was wonderful. My main was the shrimp tacos and I will get them again! The shrimp was tender, the veg crisp and the sauce had just the right amount of kick to it.

  My husband and I visited Mucho Burrito in Orillia on a Saturday evening around 6 p.m., and it was surprisingly not very busy. There’s a great selection of garnishes to choose from, and I was especially happy to see fresh cooked peppers and onions available, even though they were starting to run low, they were still warm and added a lot of flavour. One downside for me was the extra charge for guacamole. I understand upcharges for certain items, but it feels like guacamole is such a staple in Mexican cuisine that it would be nice if it were included. My husband ordered the extra large burrito and definitely regretted it by the end, not because it wasn’t good, but because it was very large and filling. He said next time he would stick with the regular size. The staff member who helped us was quick and efficient, and our food was prepared without much of a wait. That said, there are a few areas that could use a deeper clean or refresh. The stainless steel at the cash area and the sink in the bathroom could use a good scrub, and the tabletops are looking worn. They would really benefit from being refinished with a new clear coat. Also worth noting, there is only one shared bathroom for the whole restaurant. On the plus side, this location is wheelchair accessible, and it’s in a very convenient area with lots of free parking. It also looks like there are sometimes online deals available on certain days, so it is probably worth checking ahead before you order. Overall, a solid experience with fresh, filling food, just a few areas for improvement.

  What a great restaurant! Food fresh and delicious and made right in front of me, staff excellent, friendly and efficient and the whole area was clean and welcoming. I will definitely be returning soon!
