Even though it was busy because of the “kids eat free” promotion, we were served in a very timely manner and were never rushed. Our waitress, Laura, was not only very pleasant and sociable, but very efficient in every way. I highly recommend this restaurant and we look forward to dining there again soon.

The food is always satisfying, the portions are great, the prices remain fair, and the service is friendly and reliable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious food, good value, and consistent service. Waiting 30 minutes at 1:30am after the lunch rush on a Sunday just to place a takeout order of a simple Dipping sauce and fries. One family, 2 couples, another guy, getting food and myself were waiting there. The family said they had been there for around 20 minutes. Once I got there At that point one of the couples left and then, 10 minutes later, the guy left.. and then 20 minutes after that high left. And there was just 2 couples that came in. I don't take any in that time that we're just oblivious. Every single one of us stated that we had not seen any staff at that front. Takeout desk, all we could hear were voices in the kitchen. Even when we called for them, no one showed up. After finding out the cross Ave with the convenience of a drive through merged with upper middle shopping center location.... So with the added staff, I thought it would be amazing. How dare you even call yourself a restaurant? When I was in BC it was heart-wrenching that there was maybe 2 Swiss challet locations for BC. It was a comfort..knowing you could get good food and consistency Pushing it with perogies.. but it was good!! Salads were great..!! Now this one HURTS, I really didn't want to write this review as this was the second Swiss Challet, I ever went to in the 80s. The first was at the Northeast corner of Speers and kerr st, but I Digress What was once a great place with warm atmosphere decent service, an easy small consise menu..with higher than fast food price. Is now...Just awful..90% of the venue doesn't even pass for hot garbage. Stick to the good old same menu, that originally came from Montreal.. Go back to ACTUALLY ROTISSERIE roasted CHICKEN IN HOUSE...(how that is still decent is a miracle) but it's still 4th of the best rotisserie chicken around Fries are good Dipping sauce!!! Best thing there And simple chicken sandwiches.. Salads are the same quality, if you wait till they put out the garbage and get it from there. All I wanted was the Dipping sauce, and maybe some fries. I took a glance after the renovations....I know how to get to milestones.. And Harpers landing does it better. In fact avoid dissapointment Just go to Harpers and if you want the worst SERVICE EVER AND THIS SWISS CHALET WAS ONLY SECOND WORST TO MOODS ON IROQUOIS SHORE...45 MINUTES JUST FOR A MENU. Bu, DANG!!!, the food is really worth it BEST middle. Eastern food I've ever had 60 minutes for a $4 bottle of water (pure gold price) What happened?! SWISS CHALET, YOU BROKE MY HEART.

She made sure everything was perfect, checked in at just the right times, and had such a positive attitude. Her excellent service really made our experience special.
