    Had the Prosciutto Barrata appetizer...it was very miniscule for $27. Two sliced baby cherry tomatoes a smidgen of arugula and four very thin slices of prosciutto. The barrata was fine but small too. And very few thin slices of bread mostly with holes. Absolutely not a $27 price tag before tip and hst. Do better please.

    The restaurant has a pleasant layout and is easy to find, which made a good first impression. Unfortunately, our overall experience as a group of eight did not meet expectations from start to finish. To begin, the table provided did not match the size of our reservation, and we had to rearrange chairs ourselves to accommodate everyone. When our drinks arrived, the beers were served at room temperature; when we asked for colder ones, we were told that was the coldest available, despite it being clear they had not been refrigerated. Regarding the food, we specifically asked the staff to confirm that the salmon would not be overcooked, yet it arrived overdone to the point of having a rubbery texture. Additionally, one member of our group ordered a dish after being assured it was not spicy, only to find it was too spicy to eat. Service throughout the meal was also disappointing, with an indifferent attitude from our server. Given the high prices and the combination of food and service, I cannot recommend this restaurant.

    We had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience at Harper Landing for a birthday celebration today. The evening was completely ruined by terrible service, long waits, and a shocking lack of accountability from both the staff and management. ​To start, we waited over 45 minutes just for our main courses to arrive. When the food finally came out, they only served the adults and completely left out the kids. When I pointed this out to our server, she lied straight to my face, insisting she had already served them because of where they were seated. After double-checking, she realized she had actually mistaken the kids' meals for an earlier appetizer order. ​While she apologized for the mistake, it took another 30 to 40 minutes just to get the kids' food to the table. In the meantime, I had to flag down a second server and eventually speak to the manager. The manager simply said she would "look into it," but she never bothered to come back to our table to follow up, offer an update, or show even an ounce of courtesy or compensation for the massive delay. ​An experience that was supposed to be a special celebration was entirely ruined by a defensive server, an indifferent manager, and unacceptable wait times. We will not be returning.

    We both really enjoyed everything... We were in town for one day only and asked AI for the best place in Oakville. From the impressive first impression when you walk in to the warm and sincere thank you as you leave; everything is spot on. The menu is varied and everything we tried was great as were the selection of beer from around the world. You're really made the experience amazing was the great service from Emily P. We really enjoyed everything she suggested. Huge plus if you happen to be there during happy hour, the most popular items are dramatically reduced so we got a bunch of our favorites and shared everything at our table.

    We held a private family event of 21 people at Harper's Landing and the service was absolutely terrible. We had booked the private room with sliding panels intended to give us privacy. But we couldn't fully close the panels as there was a large plant that couldn't be moved. They seemed very short staffed. The server, though pleasant, was very inattentive to our group and busy with other tables. Even when I was able to find him, it took such a long time to get served. It was more than an hour before the server even took our main orders. We had spoken to the manager but the service still didn't improve. They then rushed us out at the end, apparently they had another booking that they had to accommodate which they had not mentioned until they had to get us out. Our desserts were rushed and they were not able to take orders for after dinner drinks or coffee. I have never been to a restaurant before where the server didn't try to upsell drinks and check on us to see if we needed anything. We felt completely neglected. It was a big disappointment.
