Absolutely love the pan pizza at Papa Johns at York U 🍕 The crust is perfectly crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy inside. It’s definitely my go-to whenever I’m craving pizza. The butter chicken sauce is SO delicious! 🤤 It has such a rich, flavorful taste and goes amazingly well with the pan pizza. I highly recommend trying it if you haven’t already. The staff here are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful, which makes the experience even better. Great food, great service, and a really nice atmosphere. Definitely one of my favorite pizza spots around York U

Everything was wonderful except the fact that apparently the tips on the card machine don’t go to people serving you??? I am pretty sure that it is not legal but most importantly it is not ethical. When people tip it is expected to go to the workers. There should be a sign telling the customers that at least. The owners should do better.

I was craving some pizza for dinner. I don't normally order from Papa Johns, but I figured I would take a chance since it was within waking distance from my place. I would soon regret that decision. I ordered a large philly cheese steak pizza with EXTRA philly cheese steak. I opened the box to much confusion. Where's the philly cheese steak? I regrettably realized those small dark specs were the philly cheese steak. The fact that an adult human with a functional brain believed that this was an appropriate portion size is deeply concerning. Does Papa Johns teach their employees that extra means more? Whoever prepared my pizza has made me lose faith in humanity. I now fully support AI taking over these types of jobs, because I doubt they would screw up anywhere near as bad as the humans working at this location did. I will definitely avoid Papa Johns in the future. Yes, the price is cheap, but so is the quality. I would rather pay a few extra dollars to have the peace of mind that I'm not getting a half-assed pizza.

Placed an order and received the wrong order. I called the store to try to rectify the issue and asked if it would be possible for me to come to the restaurant, return the incorrect order, and receive the correct order that I originally placed. The male employee I spoke with repeatedly spoke over me, would not allow me to fully explain the situation, and was extremely rude and dismissive. I repeatedly asked for his name, but he refused to provide it. Rather than trying to resolve the issue, he immediately told me there was nothing he could do and continued to argue with me. At one point, he even accused me of assault when I was simply trying to get the correct order I had paid for. What makes this situation even more concerning is that I have an allergy to marinara, and the pizza I received contained marinara. As a result, I was left without the correct order and with food that I could not safely eat. I was not demanding anything unreasonable. I offered a simple solution: I would come to the restaurant myself, return the incorrect order, and exchange it for the correct one. I understand that mistakes can happen with orders, but the way this situation was handled was completely unacceptable. The employee showed no concern about resolving the issue and instead made the interaction unnecessarily confrontational and disrespectful. The level of disrespect and lack of professionalism I experienced was extremely disappointing. Customers should be able to contact a restaurant when there is an error with their order and expect to be treated with basic courtesy and have their concerns taken seriously. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at this location. I strongly encourage management to review how this situation was handled and address the customer service provided by this employee. No customer should be made to feel ignored, disrespected, or unable to resolve an issue with an order—especially when the incorrect food involves a known food allergy.
