  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Had a really good experience at Thai Express. Lovepreet was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful. She had a great attitude and made sure everything was taken care of. The food was fresh and tasty, and the service was quick and friendly. Really appreciate the great service, Lovepreet! You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers. Would definitely come back again!

  Probably the worst Thai Express I’ve ever been to. The store looks dirty from the glass doors and windows to dirty tables and the store smelt like incense when I walked in which was unappetizing. My food was ready within 1 minute of ordering which was not a good sign. The beef in my Pad Sew was very dry and the meal tasted burnt. Given the speed and the flavour, the staff must be pre cooking their meals, compromising quality for speed. The service was not great and the food wasn’t good. I’ve been going to Thai express since the early 2000s and this was my worst experience. Save yourself the disappointment and drive a little further to the location on Green Lane East. Much better service and much better food. Will never return to the location in Newmarket. Franchiser; I recommend you vet your franchisees much better than what was done for this store… the staff are ruining your reputation and using TFWs will not work well for you in the long run as you expand your brand.

  Very disappointing experience!!!! I don’t get to Newmarket very often, and there are literally all kinds of restaurants in that plaza that would have been a better choice — many of them at least $5 cheaper. So I really regret choosing Thai Express this time. I ordered from the parking lot and drove over only about a minute later. By the time I walked in to let them know I was there, I was surprised to hear, “Oh, it’s ready.” That should have been my first clue. I’m used to the Green Lane/Yonge location, where my experience has been that the food is prepared fresh, even when it’s getting close to closing time. Here, the food tasted like it had simply been reheated or recooked rather than freshly prepared. For more than $20 for one meal, I expect much better — especially from a franchise where you expect some consistency between locations. If I wanted basic fast food, I could have gone to McDonald’s, Wendy’s, or one of the many other restaurants in the plaza and spent less money. I specifically chose Thai Express because I wanted something that felt fresher and better quality. Unfortunately, the chicken tasted burnt and the entire meal had an awful taste. By the time I got back to work and actually sat down to eat it, the restaurant was already closed, so there was no opportunity to take it back. More than $20 basically went straight into the green bin. That’s what makes this even more frustrating. I rarely get to Newmarket, there were so many other options right there, and several would have cost me at least $5 less. I chose a familiar franchise because I expected the quality to be reasonably consistent from one location to another. That definitely wasn’t the case here. Next time, I’ll be reading the reviews before choosing a location. Extremely disappointing, especially for the price.
