  This place is always busy and they only have one blizzard mixer…… the amount this company makes and only have one machine is ridiculous….its like saying Tim Hortons with only one coffee maker

  The ice cream is great, especially the brownie oreo cupfiction, as for food its okay. The workers are usually nice, but sometimes they are not. I had an experience this week with a worker who was being rude, I asked for 4 ice creams, confirmed that, and paid. She forgot to add the other 2 ice creams, and when talked to she acted defensive, instead of being communicative. Showing me the receipt, and acting mad that I questioned the rest of the order, and when she noticed she was wrong, she did not even apologize, and I had to repay and she made the rest of my order. I think being mutually respecting between the customer and worker is important, and it was lacking that...

  Today was my first time visiting this DQ, around 9:20pm. It was busy, but the line moved surprisingly fast. My order was taken by Lauren at the counter, and she was fantastic — quick, attentive, and calm even with a long queue. Now I understand why everything was running so smoothly. Thanks to her excellent service, I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in the city. I hope her supervisor gives her some well‑earned kudos — she absolutely earned it tonight.

  We had such a wonderful experience at Dairy Queen Barrhaven! Mia and Kat truly went above and beyond to make my son’s birthday special. They custom made his cake exactly how we wanted it, and their positivity and kindness made the whole process so easy and enjoyable. What really stood out was how much they genuinely cared about my son’s birthday experience, it didn’t feel like just another order to them. They took the time to make sure everything was perfect, and it showed. Thank you, Mia and Kat, for helping create such a memorable moment for our family. We’ll definitely be back!

  I go to Dairy Queen every Monday evening. It’s my weekly routine and a way to start my week off strong. It honestly never crossed my mind until now to leave a review for this amazing young woman who works there. Every single time I go, I’m greeted by her. She has brown hair and very soft features, and she’s always so kind. I like to try new things, and I take a pretty long time to make my decisions, but she’s always patient and makes me feel comfortable, even when I talk her ear off. I go every Monday, and I’ve asked her for her name, it’s Eva. I’ve even asked what other days she works just so I could come in on those days too. That’s how much of an impact she’s had on me. It’s really important to tip her. She’s such a down to earth, humble person and an amazing worker. So if you go to the Dairy Queen at Marketplace, ask for Eva on a Monday evening and you’ll be met with incredible customer service. She always recommends great items, and since I have a nut allergy, she makes sure to warn me beforehand. She’s so thoughtful and understanding. I’ve really grown to have a soft spot for her. She’s the kind of person who truly looks out for her customers and always has a genuine smile on her face.
