    Had a great experience last night! My family and I are big fans of Swiss and eat here often (Oakville locations). This was our first time at the heartland location and we were pleasantly surprised to find a young and vibrant server who went above and beyond. Sienna was fast and efficient; the next time we are in the area, we will definitely be back!

    Was very disappointed. Ordered the hand held chicken on a bun with garden salad. When I picked up the sandwich, the meat was in tiny pieces so it immediately fell out of the bun onto the plate and table . Tried to dip it into the Chalet sauce and again the chicken fell out if the bun into the sauce. The chicken was so fine it looked almost grated. My server was apologetic and offered me another sandwich or a complimentary dessert. I declined. I just wanted to leave at this point. She kindly took 20% off my bill which I appreciated. Worst Swiss Chalet chicken on a bun I have ever had at a Swiss Chalet. A disappointing experience at Swiss Chalet.

    I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. On May 16, 2026, I went through the drive-thru and ordered two children's meals, paying with cash. I ended up waiting approximately 40 minutes for my order while several customers who ordered after me received their food first. When I asked the young employee who took my order why the wait was so long, he told me the staff had to prepare the food fresh and questioned why I was making it a big deal. I found this response unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely inconsistent with the level of customer service and code of conduct I would expect from any employee. Customers should be treated with courtesy and respect, especially when raising a legitimate concern. Children's meals should not take 40 minutes to prepare. To make matters worse, I was visiting a friend who lives only five minutes away, yet by the time I arrived, the food was completely cold. I later called and spoke with a manager. I provided my name and phone number and was told that I could return at any time to receive replacement meals due to the poor experience. When I returned today to redeem what I had been promised, I was bluntly told there was no record of my name or phone number. This felt like a second slap in the face and reflected very poorly on the management, particularly Manager Karghy. Between the excessive wait time, poor customer service, lack of professionalism, disregard for basic standards of conduct, cold food, and failure to honor the resolution that was offered, I cannot recommend this location to anyone.

    We've ordered family pack in this location many times and there were instances wherein some items in our orders were missing like fries and buns. On Sunday March 1st around 8pm, we ordered the usual family pack and our mashed potatoes were missing. Instead, they gave us extra Swiss Chalet sauces by mistake. I called this branch and reported the incident. Unfortunately, i can't remember the manager's name but she promised me to give a $15 credit the next time we order. Just today, my son was craving for chicken and fries so we decided to order. The on-duty manager said there is no credit on record for us and she said she was the one on duty during that day (Mar 1st, around 8pm). To the upper management, train this branch, even the manager. And to prevent this from happening again, pls make sure the orders are complete. See attached screenshot of call history.

    Pickup order experience : Very bad customer skills of the staff at counter when I picked up my order yesterday evening. She was already rude to person before me when asked why their order without being asked was switched to white meat. When I asked her to confirm that there were no substitutes for my order ( like previous customer), she rudely said to check myself. Then She insisted I check saying “I don't want you to come back complaining”. Instead of staff knowing what they packed in order, I had to open 4 boxes, get my food cold to confirm. Plus this location always puts butter packs on top of hot food, by the time we pick up food, butter is always liquid, no use. Staff here needs lots of training on service and communication.
