I was very hungry and in a rush to catch my bus, so I decided to stop at McDonald’s because the location was conveniently close by. The store appeared to be closing earlier than usual for walk-in customers, so even though I was walking, I tried to place my order through the drive-thru.
I tried several times at the ordering device, but no one answered. I then walked over to the service windows and waited for several minutes, knocking on the window, but no one responded. The only window that appeared to be open was the pickup window, so I walked over there and was eventually able to place my order for a McVeggie, fries, and a drink.
I received my order shortly afterward. Since my bus was due in only a few minutes and it was the last bus of the night, I had no choice but to rush to the bus stop. I started eating while waiting and was extremely disappointed with the food.
The fries were completely cold, and the McVeggie burger was honestly one of the worst I have ever received. The McVeggie has always been one of my favourite McDonald’s items because I am vegetarian, but this time the patty was extremely hard and appeared burnt and overcooked. There was also barely any sauce or lettuce in the burger. I have pictures of the food as evidence.
Normally, I would have gone back to the restaurant and complained in person, but I only had a few minutes to catch the last bus of the night, and I had a long way to travel home. Unfortunately, I was unable to do so.
I am therefore making this complaint here and would like to request either a refund of the charges or an appropriate store credit. The experience was extremely disappointing and, given the condition of the food and the difficulty getting anyone to respond, it reflects a serious lack of attention and care from the staff when preparing and serving orders.
I hope this matter can be reviewed and resolved appropriately.

One thing the store which needs to know is how does a QSR works like I waited almost 15 minutes for a meal which shouldn’t be taking more than a minute pathetic service in the terms of customer service and the team is very slow

Very disappointing and unhygienic experience.
I personally saw a staff member handling/cleaning garbage and then going back into the kitchen to prepare food. I did not see them wearing gloves when handling the food afterward, which made me very uncomfortable about the hygiene.
The burger also looked very unappetizing, and the fries were extremely oily. I have eaten at McDonald’s many times, but I have never had fries and a burger like this before.
The overall cleanliness and food-handling practices were very disappointing. Management should take food hygiene and cleanliness much more seriously.
I used the service around 5:45 AM on Sunday. I ordered an iced coffee via mobile order, but even though it wasn't busy, I had to wait for over 10 minutes.
In the end, I missed it because of the bus schedule. If you can't do that, then don't accept mobile orders.
This was, without a doubt, the worst McDonald’s experience I’ve ever had.
I came in at around 7:15 PM and ordered just a Big Mac and a Caramel McFlurry. It couldn’t have been a simpler order. Yet I ended up waiting about 30 minutes.
During that time, I watched countless customers who ordered after me receive their food and leave while I was still standing there waiting. It honestly felt like my order had been completely forgotten.
After about 15–20 minutes, I finally received my Big Mac, only to be told that they were out of Caramel McFlurry. My question is: why wasn’t I told that from the beginning? I would have happily chosen another flavor immediately instead of wasting another 20 minutes of my time.
The most frustrating part was the complete lack of customer service. Not a single employee came over to explain the delay, apologize, or even acknowledge that I’d been waiting far longer than everyone else. Nothing happened until I had to walk up and ask what was going on with my order.
Eventually, they handed me a melted McFlurry. To make matters worse, it had such an unpleasant smell that I couldn’t even eat it. I’ve never thrown away a McDonald’s ice cream before, but this one went straight into the trash.
I always stop at McDonald’s because it’s supposed to be fast and convenient, especially when I’m on my way to work. Instead, I wasted half an hour, received a poor-quality order, and left with a terrible impression.
If a restaurant can’t properly handle a two-item order or communicate with a customer who’s been waiting for 30 minutes, there are serious problems with both management and customer service.
I won’t be coming back to this location, and based on this experience, I can’t recommend it to anyone.
