  Very nice establishment with a nice atmosphere. Food was well seasoned and well cooked. 10/10 will come again.

  Popped into Swiss Chalet Markham last Friday for the quarter chicken dinner — dark meat, extra Chalet sauce, no notes. Fries were crispy, the dipping sauce hits different every time. Server was friendly, kept the Pepsi topped up. Place was busy but our food came out quick. Knocked a star off cause the booth was a bit sticky, but still solid spot.

  I believe in second chances. Screw up twice in a row, though, and I am not coming back. The last time I ordered from this location, I arrived to pick up my order and was told, "your chicken is ready, but your baked potato needs another 20 minutes." I said, no thanks, and went somewhere that could actually meet their promise. This time, the food was OK, but not hot, even though I arrived at the scheduled time. Also, I walked in right behind another customer. She walked up to the order counter, and I went to the "Chalet Valet" pickup sign. After checking the status of the first person's order, the cashier came back, ignored me, and asked the person who came in after me what he would like. When I said, excuse me, but I was here first, I was informed the line was at the cash, and I would not be served unless I came over there. I'm sorry, but if you don't want people to go to the Chalet Valet Pickup spot, don't advertise it! When I got home with the food, I realized it was not hot, and they included the wrong salad dressing. I will not be wasting a third trip to this Swiss Chalet.

  Anna was my server at lunch today & she has been my server several times at this particular location. She is so kind, friendly and helpful with the menu items. The restaurant is always clean and well kept, the service is always impeccable and food tastes great! I would highly recommend coming to this location for dine in and take out.

  I recently visited Swiss Chalet and had a really good experience, thanks to the manager, Anna. As a customer, I could tell she truly cares about both the staff and the people dining there. She was very friendly and made sure everything was running smoothly. During my visit, Anna was attentive and checked in to make sure customers were satisfied. Even when it got busy, she stayed calm and handled everything in a professional way. The restaurant was clean, the service was quick, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. It’s clear that Anna is a strong and dedicated manager who takes pride in her work. She made my visit enjoyable, and I would definitely come back again.
