  We recently visited The Pickle Barrel for Mother’s Day, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience for our whole family. There were 18 of us altogether, including my girlfriend Karen, her children, grandchildren, a set of twin girls just under two years old, along with two other young girls. Even with a large family gathering and several little ones at the table, the staff handled everything wonderfully. The service was friendly, patient, and very accommodating from start to finish. Our servers made sure everyone had what they needed, meals arrived promptly, and nobody ever felt overlooked despite the size of our group. They were especially great with the kids, which helped make the afternoon relaxed and enjoyable for everyone. The food was excellent, portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and amount you received. Everyone at the table seemed happy with their meals, and a good time was had by all. One small touch that everyone appreciated was the free pickles brought to the table. It’s a simple thing, but it added to the fun and welcoming atmosphere that The Pickle Barrel is known for. Overall, it was a great Mother’s Day gathering with excellent food, friendly service, and a warm family atmosphere. We’ll definitely return again.

  Found the atmosphere loud, music too loud and causing guests to be loud over it. Split an appetizer nacho and deep fried pickles with my wife as dinner. We were hungry but not overly so, late lunch. Had desert as well, all thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely visit again.

  Let me tell you about Amanda! She is the the server with the most enthusiasm and joy in her job and life! She made my birthday celebration with my friends a joy! The food was great and I took her advice on the mushroom Swiss burger and it was awesome! Thank you Amanda!

  Went for brunch for Mothers Day Had 2 lobster bennies and one regular bennie Had a choice to opt out of the potatoes for soup or a salad Eggs were cooked perfectly Lots of lobster Real lobster!!! Nice waitress and the whole staff were very attentive The soup my daughter got with hers was awesome and the salads on the other two was very fresh with a really nice dressing Good work guys

  We were in London for a baseball doubleheader, and when my son suggested the Pickle Barrel, I’ll admit I rolled my eyes 🙄—my memory from about 15 years ago was of a tired, outdated chain. But I was genuinely pleasantly surprised. The space feels modern and refreshed, and the food exceeded expectations. I ordered the meatloaf, served over mashed potatoes, smothered in gravy, topped with crispy onions, with a side of steamed green beans—comforting, wholesome, and absolutely delicious. A special shoutout to our server, Amanda, who was an absolute breath of fresh air—warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Great experience overall!
