I asked the lady at the counter how much longer my food would take after waiting a bit, and she instantly got hostile with me. She snapped that "it's going to take time" and went off about whether I could see how many people were waiting. Look, this is a fast food place, not a slow sit-down restaurant—people are naturally going to ask for a quick status update. Having a fragile ego over a normal question from a customer is just ridiculous. If you can't handle basic communication without snapping at people, don't work the front desk.

Being a family of six, we each got a sandwich and a side of fries. I’d heard from friends that they tend to throw extra fries in the bag, but wow, there were a lot! And they were delicious. The burgers were excellent, wrapped in foil to keep them fresh and warm, and numbered to match our receipt, making it easy to find the right one. Plus, they were absolutely delicious. I can honestly say this is probably going to be my new favourite burger spot in London, Ontario. That said, I’m not a huge fan of the price through Uber Eats, especially after delivery and tip. For six people, it came to about $175. I know that’s not entirely representative of Five Guys, but it’s still a lot to pay for delivery. I’ll probably try to keep this as a dine-in experience. We even ordered the poutine, which is my wife’s favourite. She tried it for the first time and absolutely loved it. It definitely made our top three.
