I’ve ordered here three times since I live in the neighborhood, and I was extremely excited to finally have a DQ nearby. Unfortunately, every visit has been disappointing.
The first time, I ordered two banana splits for my mom and me, and they were basically bananas sitting in melted ice cream with barely any sauce or actual ice cream included.
The second time, my boyfriend and I ordered food, and his fries were barely filled. For a meal that cost around $20, it was really underwhelming.
Today, I decided to give them another chance, hoping things would be better. I ordered two Blizzards for my mom and me, and hers was only about three-quarters full and again more melted than frozen.
I really want to support this location since it’s close by, but the consistency and quality have been very disappointing every time so far.
Walked in to the restaurant 5 customers in front of me. 1 customer was served in a 10 minute span while drive thru seemed fine. Disappointing and won’t be returning. Hopefully ownership will change sometime in the future so that this place has a chance…
Terrible experience.
My wife ordered a skor Blizzard and they gave her a s'more Blizzard, I ordered an Oreo sundae and when we pulled up the drive thru window the girl who was handing us the food turned my sundae upside down instead of my wife's Blizzard and it lost half the toppings. She got really embarrassed and just stared at me without saying anything and didn't offer to fix the mistake. The ice cream was also half melted when we went to go eat it.
Could just have been a one-off but it made us not want to go back.

This Dairy Queen disappoints. For a fast food restaurant, orders are forgotten and take a long time to be filled, with customers returning to the order desk to ask about their food. I’m not sure about the competency of the staff that take cash… I am not confident that I was charged correctly, and this seems strange considering it is a brand new restaurant and the staff ought to know what they are doing given their recent training. Service is sloppy at best - the staff is pleasant and the food tastes great but there is a discombobulated atmosphere. I think this location with always get spill over from the very busy Dave’s Hot Chicken nearby - Dairy Queen is a distant second best but at least they take CASH, which is a plus for DQ and a minus at for Dave’s since they decline LEGAL TENDER for payment. I am disinclined to go to either restaurant again.

Got a medium hot fudge Sunday and there was barely any sauce, not even enough to go around the cup. It's almost like they've been told to ease up on the sauce. Husband got a peanut butter parfait and same thing, not much sauce. Not a great first experience. I may stick to the old DQ we used to go to.
