    I am extremely pleased with the experience I had with Swiss Chalet this morning. The general manager, Matthew, went over and above and out of his way to make my order right despite it being no fault of the restaurant that it was incorrect. He even said "you're my customer, I want to make it right for you" Customer service was exemplary and kind. Food was delicious as always :) They have well earned a repeat customer and I will definitely order direct from the restaurant from now on. Well worth the call in to sort the mix up out. Thank you so much Matthew & Team!

    I don’t usually argue in public or write a bad review but this time, I won’t let it slide as it may happen to other customers too. Yesterday, my husband and I decided to order food for pick up through uber eats as we just had our baby and wanted to celebrate and treat ourselves after being discharged. I let my husband pick up our order under my name as he usually does while I stayed in the car with our baby. My husband showed the staff my phone to pick up the food then this staff was very rude to him and asking for a “thermal bag” which was odd as they never ask this before. So my husband went back to the car and had to asked me to pick it up as they might give it to me as the order was under my name. I went to the store and showed this staff my order to pick up and said tha I paid for it in the app. she immediately asked me for a “thermal bag” “I need a thermal bag and if you don’t have it, I can’t give the food to you” which is very odd as I never encountered a staff ask me to buy a thermal bag to get my order before. Mind you, I was in pain as I just gave birth and I explained that I am not working under uber eats and just here to pick up my order thru the app MANY TIMES. She had no initiative to even ask her co-worker or manager. She said “you wanted to talk to my manager” and I said yes but every-time she comes back she’ll just say “We need a thermal bag sorry I can’t give it to you” and I never really let me talk to anybody aside from her. So, I just said to cancel my order because she didn’t want to give it to me and I’m not going to buy a thermal bag as I’m so tired and really gets frustrated in that moment for the way she’s talking to me and how she had no way or solution about it. I wanted my refund but she doesn’t know how to do it as it’s under Uber eats. At the end, she asked me to just show her my ID to prove that it’s me even though I showed her the app many times. Good thing before I went back to our car to get my ID, another staff came and take a look our order and she said “oh it’s pick up, you can just give it to her” So I was like SEEEEEEE that’s what I’m saying the whole time. But yeah, we had to experience that before going home with our newly born baby. We had an amazing morning that day but they just had to ruin it. My husband and I were so disappointed of what had happened and I hope that it won’t happen to anyone especially after giving birth. I am not sure if she’s a new staff or what but I hope that they will clear this information to every staff to avoid this kind of scenario especially in public. My husband and I are not very argumentative people and we just feel so bad yesterday. 💔
