I always have the sausage and peppers penne. Little light on the sausage. Solid flavour across the board. Give the potato bacon soup a try and the Italian wedding soup (if you like salt). Salad and bread a plenty of course. Impressed that there is actual bacon in the Caesar salad. Many restaurants wouldn't do that when the salad is free/included. East side marios is happily consistent with their food. Picture are after we started eating so don't judge portion sizes based on them.

We had a wonderful visit to East Side Mario’s last night for dinner. Sydney provided fantastic service and was welcoming, friendly and attentive throughout our meal. Our food was fresh and served just right. The new Garlic topped spinach dip appetizer was delicious and you can’t go wrong with their Chicken Parm. Our chicken finger connoisseur son also enjoyed his meal. We had a great experience and will definitely be back! Thanks!

My friend and I have visited this East Side Mario's location twice and both times we were impressed with not only the food and atmosphere but the service provided by our server Rachel. She was super friendly and attentive and is obviously a hard worker. It is hard to find servers of this calibre in the restaurant business. We will definitely be returning to this location soon.

If I could leave zero stars I would and I am not one to complain! Never have I experienced such horrible service from start to finish! We walked in, wasn’t very busy at all, manager took a few mins to figure out which server to seat us with. After being seated it was at minimum 15mins before the manager came over and asked another table if they had been helped yet (they had been seated before us) to which they said no and he went to find a server, 5 mins later he came over to our table and apologized he sat us with a server that wasn’t in anymore. 20mins in server comes over takes our drink and dinner order and comes back 10mins later with drink and bread. We finally got our salad and we’re not even done before our entree came to the table. Being 40mins in I asked the server if I could get a soup and salad to which she replied I can add on all you can eat for $5.99, otherwise she can only bring out one at a time. 20mins later I asked for the salad and bread again to which she replied the kitchen is working on it I’ll ask them to speed it up for you. The manager came over and said he noticed we had not started to eat our entree and I said we were still waiting for our salad, the waitress quickly interrupted and the manager and waitress stood on either side of the table having a discussion. Our appetizer that was a part of the Thursday special showed up 25 mins after our entree to which the manager said I’m sorry I can take that off the bill for you and I let him know it was already free with the special, he then said ok how about a free dessert which I replied is also free with the special. The manager then said I’ve only been here for 3 weeks I’m still learning the menu but you seem to know it better then I do (while he was seating us he went on about the Thursday special). The waitress said she had too many tables (she had 4 and every table the manager or bar tender came to help because they were also having issues with the slow to no service) He then apologized for the slow service to which the waitress replied with “but it’s not the end of the world though, right” and walked away. The manager said he was trying to help us out, he could throw out our entrees that we had not taken even one bite from and he wouldn’t charge us anything. That’s your solution almost 2 hours into this meal is to throw out my food that I wanted to eat but had just received my appetizer?!? He then said he wanted to help me and offered me a discount. The waitress finally came back and I asked for the wedding soup and she then told me there was non left and because it’s late they won’t make anymore and offered a different soup. I wanted to reply with that’s why I tried to order it earlier but you told me I would have to pay $5.99! The manager came over at the end making comments how we didn’t eat our food and apologized for the slow service. Now that I could actually speak with him without the waitress standing there I very politely told him all the issues and he said the waitress got overwhelmed and this is not the typical service here he’s been there almost a month now and he has rarely had complaints about anything (almost making me feel bad for finally saying something after being asked 2x because I didn’t say anything the first time) he then said I’ll take 20% off your bill. Waitress came over and gave me the bill and I asked if we could have our desserts to go because she had forgot about that and our bread we asked 4x times. I was looking forward to having a dinner out with my daughter, so I guess on the bright side I got to spend 3 hrs bonding and her learning some great lessons in customer service.
