  Not trying to downgrade Filipinos because I’m Filipino myself, but when working in a restaurant or any workplace, customer service and attitude still matter. Overall, I really enjoyed the fish and chips — the food was great and the wait time was only around 10 minutes. Also, shoutout to the other Filipina staff who assisted us with our order, she was very friendly and welcoming. Keep it up, ate! However, one staff member who served our food came across a little rude or uninterested. She placed the plates down without saying anything, dropped the receipt, picked it up, then placed it back on the table a bit harshly. I’m not offended or trying to be dramatic, but small actions like that can affect the atmosphere and customer experience. I understand some Filipinos can be shy around fellow Filipinos, but here in Canada, people are generally warm and approachable, especially in customer service. I’m only sharing this because I want the workplace to improve and maintain a good reputation since customers may talk about or review their experiences. Still, overall the food was really good and we enjoyed eating there.

  I always enjoy coming to Swiss Chalet in Goderich! The chicken is always cooked perfectly, the sides are delicious, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and cozy, making it a great place to grab a meal with family or friends. I’ve never had a bad experience here and always leave satisfied. Highly recommend stopping by!

  Great people, great atmosphere, but ribs look like they were from a premature piglet and sometimes not freshly served. Hit and miss when it comes to the food. Chicken seems to get smalller and smaller.
