Thank you Asia for a quick and friendly dinner! The food was delicious and served to our table fast- we devoured it!
I really appreciated how often you checked on us to see if we needed anything. We had a wonderful time. 🤗

The location seems to always have lots of noisy children whose parents or guardians think it's ok to have these young ones publicly let off steam and energy in an enclosed space. Food always reliable in portion size. Only fault is that Market Vegetables are not steamed enough especially for seniors who need things easier to bite into and chew properly. But the best part this time was new friendly attentive Anmal. He's apparently the newest one on the block and his bubbly positive helpful attitude is refreshing.

Came to the chalet for a catch up with an old friend. Our server was Asia, and she really took care of us. We had an amazing experience with this location primarily because of our server.
Highly recommend if you’re coming over on this side of town and ask for the same server, you’ll be delighted with the experience!

I have been ordering from Swiss chalet for decades and was utterly horrified with the delivery experience last week I ordered $324.63 worth of food for a business luncheon.
The order was missing toppings for a burger, also missing were 2 shrimp side orders and 2 full orders. And the most unacceptable of all was we ordered 2 veggie burgers and one beef burger. Turns out the veg burger was marked beef and the beef burger was marked veg. Our employees religion prevents him from eating meat products. I was horrified when we noticed the veg burger was actually beef.
To top it off the receipt that came with the order had every item listed on it, therefore, there should have not been such a screw up with the food.
After the delivery I tried calling the restaurant 5 times and no one picked up the call. Finally at 2:30 p.m finally reached the manager. The best she offered was a gift card on a order worth more than $300. I believe a refund would have been more acceptable. I declined the gift card.
I wrote head office and because I refused the gift card they are closing the complaint. I will no longer be eating Swiss Chalet.
Be careful with your delivery orders from the location at 642 Dixon Road.

We had made reservations for a large group which they did not honour so when we got there, we had to wait around 15 to 20 minutes in the cold entranceway. We had proof of the email of the reservation, but they had not planned for us. They eventually seated us in a very cold room, and we were shivering the whole time. They could’ve turned on the heat. Around 20 minutes after the orders were taken, we still hadn’t received anything to drink, not even a glass of water, so one of the people at my table got up to ask about his drink because he was very thirsty, and the waitress snapped at him and told him she was entering the orders now… When she finally brought the drinks, he thanked her and she responded, “thank you for what, sir?” This waitress’ name is Hira Z.
Later, when the bills came, the coach of the team that we were with yelled to all the parents, the service is not included on your bill, so make sure to give a tip! Then Hira Z said “I’m adding it”. When she came to our table and handed me my bill, it was $44.46 plus tax, $50.24. She then pointed the machine to me without showing me the screen of the machine so when I asked to see it, it said $60.29, $10.05 more than the net amount after tax, which is exactly 20% more than the total after taxes! I then said to her that I would like to choose my own tip amount so to please take off the tip that she added. She took back the machine and did something, giving the impression that she was going to give me back the machine with the subtotal amount and the option for the tip that I could enter myself, and then she turned the machine to me backwards and touched my hand that was holding the card and it beeped, and at that point, I thought that I had accidentally tapped the machine and not added a tip so I was looking in my wallet for cash that I could give her as a tip since I had tapped it accidentally. Then I realized that the amount that she had me tap was the $60.29! So she had sneakily pretended to change the amount and then pointed it backwards to me so I couldn’t see, and I will go as far as to say that she actually touched the machine to my card purposely so I would tap with this 20% tip added on. I protested and told her that that was very sneaky of her, and she was very rude and started yelling frantically that that was what our coach said to do and she was just following our coaches orders and then she went running to my coach to tell her what happened, like I was not following protocol… Another person in our group had to speak to her because she was rude to an older woman who didn’t speak any English when taking her order.
This waitress definitely does not make us want to go back to that location again.
