  First time at McDonald's in 6 years - we were there to support McHappy Day. Still not a fan of the food at any McDonald's - but there are quite a few new items on the menu, and was glad to support a great cause. And honestly, the service was great considering how busy it was. Perhaps I will not avoid going to McDonald's as much considering the change in menu, but would rather support Canadian chains/names.

  I am writing this review for my absolute shock and disgust at the level of service provided by a staff member at this location. Today, my friends and I called this branch simply intending to place an order and enjoy our day, only to be met with immediate hostility and personal insults from the female employee who answered the phone. Instead of taking a standard order, the employee took it upon herself to harass us, stating, "Don’t you have school? Go tell your mommy that you’re using her phone." She then abruptly hung up the call before I could even respond. This behavior is not only unprofessional, it is genuinely disrespectful and bordering on harassment. It is a massive assumption and an incredibly condescending one to make about paying customers. Whether a customer is a student, a teenager, or an adult, they deserve to be treated with basic human decency, not belittled by staff members who clearly lack the temperament for customer service. I am intensely shocked that this is the standard of hiring at this location. Using age-based insults to dismiss customers who are trying to spend money at your establishment is a surefire way to lose business. I expect a much higher level of maturity and professionalism from a global brand like McDonald's. I hope management reviews their phone logs and addresses this specific employee’s conduct. Until then, my friends and I will be taking our business elsewhere somewhere where the staff actually knows how to speak to people without being genuinely disrespectful.

  DISAPPOINTED in Essex McDonald’s Just sat in the drive thru it was busy, no biggie it happens I was told just a moment she had to clear the line up ahead of us a bit . So I waited and waited while they took 2 cars beside me in the other lane and their orders while I was clearly still sitting there I said hello twice nothing, so I backed out of the drive thru thoroughly irritated do better McDonald’s DO BETTER

  This was a very disturbing visit, my fries were cold The chicken burger looked like it wanted to fly away, the cheeseburger was burnt, the cheese burger special had a drop of a tomato, no salad, no pickles, no mustard, ketchup. The only thing that was good was the drinks.,

  "I had the worst experience at McDonald's today. I ordered a nuggets and fries. Both were cold! It was like they'd been sitting out for hours. The bun on my sandwich was stale, and the chicken patty tasted like rubber. Seriously disappointed and won't be going back anytime soon."
