One thing I appreciate is that they offer lettuce-wrapped burgers, which makes it easy for those of us who need a gluten-free option without sacrificing taste. The burgers are consistently fresh, and the fries are excellent—you always get a generous portion, so they offer great value. The main downside is the price. Five Guys is definitely one of the more expensive burger chains, and because everything is cooked fresh to order, it can take a little longer to get your food. If you’re in a hurry, it may not be the best choice. Overall, if you don’t mind paying a bit more and have a few extra minutes to wait, the quality and portion sizes make it well worth the visit.

What I had here at Newmarket Five Guys reminded me a lot of what I had when Five Guys started opening up in Canada. Food was good, place is clean but its time to take the ancient wall quotes down who cares what the LA times said 15 years ago!

Does Five Guys offer gluten-free options?
The only products we offer that contain gluten are our buns, hot dogs (Canada only), HP sauce (UK only), and the malt vinegar condiment for our fries. In Canada, our Poutine Gravy condiment also contains gluten. All of our sandwiches, including burgers, hot dogs and the veggie sandwich, are available without a bun via our wrap or bowls.

Serving peanuts for free began as a way for people to pass the time while they waited for us to cook up their meals (way back in the day, before smartphones). It was such a hit, and has become such a Five Guys tradition, that we keep our stores stocked with peanuts to this day.

Leftover fries are excellent reheated in the oven (or Air Fryer). According to Chad Murrell, one of the Five Guys, just pop them in a 350-degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.
Also, give those leftover fries a try as hash browns, home fries, or even as the filling in an omelet.
