  A really disappointing time at Taylor’s Landing for my birthday. The kids’ food came 40 minutes after ordering and the adults another 15 minutes after that. Although the server was very friendly, we asked for pepper and he couldn’t find a pepper grinder. By the time he did, our food was finished. The kids burger buns fell apart upon touching them and when we asked the manager she said that we should have told them “no gluten buns” but the order never specified that they would be gluten free. Overall, most of the meals were tasty, but the lettuce in my mother’s Caesar salad was brown. The place seemed under staffed and the staff seem new. Our server didn’t know how to pour the drinks we ordered and we were constantly asking passing servers for the things that were forgotten or we needed. The women’s bathroom had a broken pipe and was leaking out the door. I was here nearly a decade ago and thoroughly enjoyed our time. It was such a disappointment to see how far the place has fallen.

  We went for Mothers Day dinner. The food was excellent and a very nice atmosphere. The beef brisket was tender & juicy with sooo much flavor! A nice serving of mash potatoes and chopped carrot to top it off. An excellent choice for those wanting a heavy meal. We had an amazing server, Kayden! Kayden worked hard to serve us. She was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. She was very timely with order taking and was conscious of our needs. She engaged in conversation and even took our group photo. We definitely would want her as a server in the future! We did have a time delay for when we received our meal. I found the 45+ min time frame, from main dish order to serving, slow. Perhaps the kitchen had difficulties, but none the less, it was slow for a restaurant of this caliber. Seems like a management issue. 3 out of 5 stars for service. Other than the usual service in this instance, a very nice establishment to return to.

  Loved my first visit to Taylor’s landing at shops at don mils the food was amazing but I can’t say enough about the service I was greeted by these friendly people at the front I got there names it was Alicia,romo,Layla and Emily they were amazing made a good first impressions on me even though it was busy and they seemed busy as well but they made me feel wanted then I got seated and this amazing server named destiny she was so friendly and attentive the food was great will be coming back

  The server was very nice (Connor) and doing his best but the restaurant was understaffed. We were there for a special occasion and were a party of 12. Despite booking/confirming a set menu, this came as a surprise to staff when I arrived (set menus were not out & I had to gather up regular menus before guests arrived). Also, one long table was joined up to a booth to accommodate our reservation (sandwiched between two other parties set up same way) and it was very crowded and awkward in the booth. Also made it difficult for food & drinks to be served as no space for staff to get into the space and guests had to pass plates, cups etc back and forth. It is a very large restaurant and it was not otherwise busy - very disappointing use of space. Also, the bread, appetizers & salad were served family style but was served on table very scarcely - ie one narrow dish with half dozen dumplings on it, for group of 12 makes it less than one per person - more was eventually brought out, but it’s not a nice feeling to look like there isn’t enough food. Food quality was very good, I would return here for a meal but not to have a party. A lot of potential; but missed the mark.

  We had a wonderful experience thanks to our server Jalee who was incredibly professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly throughout the entire meal. From the moment we were seated, she made us feel welcome and comfortable, and her positive attitude really elevated the dining experience. She was knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right moments without ever being intrusive. It’s clear she truly cares about her customers and takes pride in her work. Excellent service like this makes a lasting impression, and we’ll definitely be returning.
