    Man, what a bummer at Swiss Chalet! The food was good, but our waitress, Heather, was super rude and totally messed up our night. We checked Google, and it said they closed at 10 pm. We got there at 8:58 pm. Heather, who was at the door, asked how many, and we said nine. She told us they closed at 10 pm and asked if we wanted takeout. I said no, we wanted to eat in. She just shook her head and walked off. Another waitress came and seated us, but then Heather came back to take our order. She was clearly not happy. We were so hungry, or we would've just left. Our bill was about $195, I tipped $15 for the kitchen staff. We're definitely not going back to that Swiss Chalet.

    We went on Mothers Day. Had made reservations in advance for 8. Arrived at 1245p for a 1p reservation. Our table was ready and we were seated right away. Drinks and appretizers were delivered fast and with friendly service. Our food orders were all correct. The only downfall was that our waitress was told to go for her lunch and no one was tasked with serving our table in her abscence. An oversight by someone obviously. We had to finally track down another waitress walking past to ask if she could find our waitrsss. When she returned, she explained above situation, apologized and said she would take over our table in the meantime. We got our boxes to take leftovers home and were provided our bill quickly after that. Overall it was a great Lunch.

    I have been coming for years as a little kid and bringing my kids and today I was asked if I had a reservation which I didnt . I want to give a big thank you to Edie for not turning my mom and I away and found a table for us excellent service as always... and Nicole was excellent never disappointed with these 2 women always nice to see a familiar face and smiles and laughs this is why we keep coming back.

    I’d first like to say, although she didn’t tell us her name, our server was really nice, she was lovely with the children at our table. seemed friendly.. and tried to do her best to keep up with our table of 7… which included two children under 5.. although the service was alright…. the food was awful! unfortunatly my bestfriend and i both ordered a poutine as a upgrade… and they came out cold…. my daughter and i ordered the promo going on 2 can dine for 19.99 … didn’t know promos ment “make you sick “ we both were ill once we got home ( about a 45-1 hour drive ) - we were visiting.. i know this was the food that made me sick because that was the only thing i ate in 24 hours due to my work schedule i had put my left overs in the fridge…. prior to getting sick - and left them in there… my bf ate them at 3 am when he got home from work (guess i should of told him not too) but he woke up at 6 am ill as well! i personally think it was the chicken … unfortunately getting sick…. is never fun…. but …. what’s worse????? absolute trash customer service / management.. called the next day to speak to VINCE .. and he was so abruptly rude on the phone… basically told me i wasn’t there but my credit card statement and my own brain says i was haha! honestly…. getting sick ……is bad but im way more upset with the management / how we were treated after explaining our situation from someone who’s been a resturant manager.. and graduated from business management the way he handled this is totally unacceptable

    Came here to eat on Thursday night (April 30/2026) arrived at 7pm ish. Our poutines came out cold - replaced, great! Food was tasty… little did we know what we were going to endure the next few days. We called the next day, spoke with Vince, and expressed our concerns about how we are pretty sure that this location gave us FOOD POISONING. He was vulgar, disrespectful, hostile and not willing to even listen. My bestfriend also attended this dinner with us, and it made her and her daughter violently ill. He denied that we were ever there, and told both of us when we called that “without a receipt he can’t do anything” I know that’s indeed false. He also told my husband “he can’t find the transaction” before my husband even gave him any details. Ofcourse you couldn’t, because you didn’t bother to investigate. Vince is a LAZY manager who tries to bully the people who supply his pay check. I’m DISGUSTED that we even put our money into this place not only for the fact of food poisoning, but the way we were treated when we brought this to his attention. His lack of care, and attention as a “manager” is MAKING CUSTOMERS SICK. 100% will never be back, and 100% will not be recommending this location to anyone - food poisoning + disrespect… nah.
