We could not physically break apart the bread with our hands - we used a screwdriver to hit it and it still barely changed. Will not be ordering from here ever again.

- JBJR ButtAug 27, 20261.0Now I know why I had given up on Swiss Chalet years ago. This is my first and LAST visit to this or any other Swiss Chalet. I ordered 3 separate full meals over the phone. Went to pick it up and inadvertently went into the main doors, where I waited at the tiny front desk and not one of the people who walked by me asked me to be seated, what i was there for, nothing!!!!! I had to flag down a waiter who finally told me that the take out section was on the side of the building. To be honest the place looked like the carpets in the waiting area hadn't been vacuumed in months. Dirty looking entrance. So I proceed to the take out window. Get my food head home. DISSAPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST. The FRIES WERE LIKE REHASED GUMMY WORMS. Absolutely terrible. Rubbery, tasteless garbage. Same goes for the vegetables, dry, rubbery carrots and cauliflower & Broccoli. NO FRESH CRUNCH, BLAH. The CHICKEN was dry and stringy and the order was wrong. I ordered one of the chicken meals with gravy on the side so I could test it first, however both of them had no gravy over the bread and chicken. Overall, perhaps one of the WORST meals I've had. SWISS CHALET has definitely gone done hill since my mom used to take me there years ago. Hopefully this review will help you make your decision easier if you are thinking about choosing this location. If i could give it less than 1 star I would.
