    I had a disappointing experience during my recent visit. We placed a mobile order through the McDonald’s app and waited in the car for pickup. Since no one came out for a while, my partner went inside to collect the order. While I was still parked, a staff member approached and repeatedly gestured for me to move the car. I tried to explain that my partner was already inside picking up the order, but the staff member insisted that I could not park there and should move immediately, without really listening to what I was saying. The interaction felt rushed and dismissive, even though the situation was simple and there were no cars behind us. The main concern is that staff should be trained to listen and understand the situation before making judgments or instructions. A bit of patience and communication would have avoided the misunderstanding completely.

    Extremely disappointing and upsetting experience at this Hespeler McDonald’s location. I drove several kilometers this morning to buy Hotcakes for my daughter, only to get home and realize the pancake syrup and whipped butter were missing from the order, even though I specifically asked for them. Because of the restaurant’s mistake, I had to drive all the way back to the store. One associate initially handled the situation professionally and offered to replace the meal and provide a voucher for the inconvenience. However, the store manager intervened and changed the resolution to only a refund. What made the experience worse was the manager’s attitude and complete lack of empathy or professionalism. At no point did she apologize for the inconvenience caused. Instead of listening to why I was frustrated after having to drive back and forth because of the store’s mistake, she repeatedly focused on saying that there were “kids and other guests in the store” and labeled my frustration as yelling rather than trying to de-escalate the situation respectfully. Her tone throughout the interaction felt dismissive, insulting, and deeply disrespectful. The way she spoke to me, including remarks such as “good luck with your day,” came across as sarcastic and unprofessional instead of customer-focused. I also felt that there was no appreciation or value given to customers who physically take the time, effort, gas, and mileage to come to the store and then are forced to return again because of the restaurant’s mistake. Even when customers are frustrated, they still deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. This experience left me feeling humiliated, unheard, and extremely disappointed with the management, store manager and customer service at this location. Instead of acknowledging the inconvenience caused to me as a customer, the store manager treated me as though I was at fault for expressing frustration.     Absolute garbage. The absolute worst McDonald’s I’ve ever been to not only is it filthy inside, but the staff can’t even do their job , Even if you use the app, they’re still no helping them

    McDonald's Cambridge is a good place to grab a quick meal with consistent food quality and fast service. The food is tasty and what you expect from McDonald’s, served fresh and efficiently.
