    Good food, not so good service. I came in on a Friday with my two kids for dinner. The restaurant wasn't busy, and the hostess was friendly and seated us quickly, but we then waited 15 minutes while servers walked past our table. I had to ask the hostess to find our server, and it was another five minutes before she arrived. When she did, there was no greeting or introduction, just "you want to order?" It felt like we were a bother. After our mail arrived, she checked on us only once, when we were almost finished eating. Later, it was hard to get her attention so one of my kids could have some water. When she came over, she brought the bill and the payment machine together. She did ask if we wanted anything else, but by then I was done. We had planned to order dessert, but I just wanted to leave. I'd give the food 4/5 and the service 1.5/5. I felt unwelcome, which was disappointing, especially with my kids along. I won't be returning to this location.

    We came for my dad’s birthday and had a terrible experience that ended in us leaving before all the entrees came. Waited 20 minutes for our drinks, then another 20 for soups and salad. We had to ask for the bread as it did not come out. We then waited another 20 minutes after asking for a refill on drinks. After about an hour and 30, our entrees began coming out. We watched the staff standing in the kitchen holding plates of food just chatting for quite a while, when they finally came out it ended up being our entrees and they were cold. We decided we would leave, and pay for what we had consumed (drinks and apps) The manager was not empathetic to the situation and acted confused as to why we were leaving. it was not busy and there was an abundance of staff.

    We went to East Side Mario’s to celebrate our 10-year wedding anniversary, and unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. Our babysitter cancelled, so we had to bring our three small children with us. We explained to our server that we were trying to make the best of the situation and asked if they could please keep the service moving quickly because of the kids. All under 4 years old.... Unfortunately, the service was incredibly slow. We sat waiting for the server for 5+ mins other tables sat after us received drinks and food before us. Our food took a long time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold. On top of that, after we finished eating, we waited almost 20 minutes just to get our bill and have our payment processed. We completely understand that restaurants can get busy, and we aren't expecting perfect service every time. But when you're celebrating a 10-year anniversary and have three small children with you, you hope the restaurant will at least make an effort when you've specifically explained the situation. The combination of the slow service, cold food, and extremely long wait for the bill made what should have been a special evening much more stressful than it needed to be. Unfortunately, this was not the experience we expected from East Side Mario’s, and we left very disappointed.

    Waited over an hour for the food. For a Sunday lunch, the restaurant was not busy at the time, yet it appeared to be understaffed. Steak and creamy garlic fettuccine had no cream texture, and was overpowered with black pepper, and from the image, it’s reasonable to ask, who would want to chew on whole cloves of garlic? Last time I attended, the food delivery was slow, and a table beside us left as they did not get their food in a timely manner. Today, the same thing was observed, but I still wanted to give the restaurant a chance. Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. Ownership of the restaurant needs to take more accountability and run this business in a more efficient manner.

    Myself and party of two stopped by earlier today to try and have dinner. We were seated quick and told our server would be right over. We looked over the menu several times, decided what we wanted to eat and waited. And waited. And waited. We were seated right beside the bar and there were 2-3 staff members there at all times. Sometimes making drinks, sometimes just leaning up against the bar looking around. After 20 minutes of being overlooked, and not even greeted, we decided to up and leave. The two ladies working who were staring at us as we left didn’t seem very impressed, but no one tried to stop us or help us either. Anyways, dinner at Kelsey’s ended up being great. I would never return to this ESM because of this experience and lack of attention. For an almost empty restaurant this lack of service was shocking.
