Update: Yes it happened at your location I’d suggest passing the tip along to the employees rather than keeping it. The address is 230 Shellard Lane, Brantford the one located in front of Assumption School unless you have 2 subway within same plaza I’ve been going to this Subway location for years and the customer service has always been great.
Today I was about to tip I asked girl if she will get tip and was told by her that owner keeps all the tips. This is concerning, as customers expect tips to go directly to employees.
Under the Ontario Employment Standards Act (ESA), tips are intended for employees, and policies should be fair and compliant. I hope the owner reviews this practice. I will also be raising this with Subway head office.

Visited this Subway location around 11:10 AM today with my two kids. The food was good, but the experience was very disappointing.
One staff member (name sounded like Powerdip) was loudly yelling at a co-worker in front of customers. This created a very uncomfortable environment, especially for families. This is not the kind of behavior you expect in a customer service setting.
I did mention it at the time because it was quite upsetting. I hope management addresses this issue to ensure a more respectful atmosphere for both customers and employees.
Also, could someone please share the management email or contact details so I can report this directly?

I always disappointed with this location but this week's experience will make me never eat at this location again.This afternoon I ordered two footlongs that were poorly prepared.It seemed like that the staff member preparing the sub wasn't interested in her job.There is no doubt this location lacks in quality of the food.I will not be a customer that will return to this location to have my meal as people deserve what they pay for

I had a very disappointing experience at this place. The staff’s behavior was extremely rude; they spoke to me in a dismissive and unfriendly manner. Not only was the food made poorly, but the overall attitude while preparing it was negative—there was no effort to smile or be welcoming. Even when I tried to mention specific items, the staff kept a poor attitude throughout. In the end, this was a complete waste of money, as nothing was satisfactory. I had a really disappointing experience at this Subway location. The staff member was extremely rude and made me uncomfortable. What bothered me the most was that she was trying to enter a review herself on behalf of customers, which felt very unprofessional and inappropriate. When it was my turn at checkout, she was very pushy and even said their job is at risk if customers don’t leave reviews I don’t know what kind of standards this location is following.
Reviews should come from genuine customer experiences, not be influenced by staff. Based on this experience, it seriously made me question how genuine the positive reviews here really are. I honestly wish Google had a negative star rating I would have given this place -5. Definitely not a good experience. Definitely not going back to this LOCATION EVER
