Ugh. We dined in at a booth near the bar on the left side with a toddler. The people behind us had a hair in their soup. I don't know if they were understaffed or the waitresses were new but the service was horrible. We were there at 8:30. Waited 15 minutes for a booster seat. Our waitress was also at the bar. She never once asked us how the food was. She brought bread and no butter a couple of times. She would ask us if we wanted cheese, we would say yes.. and then she would just disappear and go back to the bar? Our appetizers were done before she came back with the cheese 😆 A new girl was then introduced to us and she was the exact same. It was not busy. The staff seemed to care only about chatting with themselves and the bar. We had to wait several times for very simple things that are a staple with East side Mario's. Cheese and the bread.. Our entrees came. We waited almost 10 minutes before she came with the cheese after having to remind her we asked for cheese and bread with our entree. There was zero conversations except at the end when my fiancee. It was the first time I've ever not wanted to tip anything at all. Even with that we still tipped 10.00 when i feel it should have been 0. I felt bad complaining since the people behind us already complained about the hair and to be honest they seemed hard to deal with. I didn't want to add to the managers plate. We left not wanting to return. We felt like dining there was a nuisance to the waitresses. Dined in on Sept 6th at 830pm left at 930pm Please retrain your waitresses or have a bartender specifically for the bar and waitresses for patrons. It really wasn't a good experience at all.

Yall know what the food looks like and as always it was absolutely delicious, but Im here to leave a review for our incredible service tonight. Our server Austin Z was one of the Best we have ever had dining out as a family. She was very attentive to our table with kind courtesy, our drinks were continually topped up, our table always had bread, soup and salad until our meals arrived, and we were attended without prompt at the end of our meal for to go boxes and the bill. Its rare to be so well taken care of while dining out. Thank you so much for giving us an amazing experience Austin we sincerely appreciate your hard work tonight.

I frequent East side Mario's many times throughout the year. I hadn't been in a few months so I was looking forward to my meal tonight. We were seated and the waitress quickly brought us our drinks And took our order. She brought her salad out but we had no utensils and had to flag her down several minutes later for them. As we started eating our salads we had to ask for the complementary bread. we finished our salads looking forward to our entrées. As the time ticked away we wondered what it happened to our order especially as we noticed other customers who had sat down and ordered 15 minutes and 25 minutes after us receiving their entrées long before us. not sure if her waitress had just forgotten to put her order in but there was no honesty or accountability from her or the manager. After sharing our disappointment the manager finally agreed to take a discount off our bill. As a sidenote, I was also disappointed to see that the price of the lasagna had gone up and the size of the meal had been reduced to almost half of what I am used to receiving. Needless to say won't be back.

Ordered later night through door dash. Maybe this is my fault, but I was sick and wanted soup. East Side Mario's was the only place that had a soup at 9:30 pm for delivery. I ordered 2, thinking I could have one for later or tomorrow. Even with my Door dash account, the fee plus having to pay an extra 2.99 just to make sure they came straight to me instead of making extra stops and bringing cold food (past experience) plus tip totalled $15 for a delivery. Soup is $10/each. I wasn't then expecting my Italian wedding soup to come in a tiny container, 3/4 full with half a spoonful of pasta in the bottom. I understand it's late. I probably got the bottom of what was left for the night. But when your bill for 2 soups with bread and 1 kids pasta comes out to just under $50, you don't expect it to be the bottom of the pot and not even full serving. This is the second time we've had this happen with the Italian wedding soup, the last time was quite long time ago, I ordered for my sister and she literally had 1 meatball in it. East Side Mario's has always been a family favorite for us, dine in, but between the last pick up and this delivery, I'm super unimpressed.

This is the first time our family has eaten at the Brantford location. It was alright, staff definitely on their toes with the amount of patrons. A few bites of improvement. The Caesar salad lacked the dressing. Basically eating dry leaves. I had the sausage and peppers penne. Few peppers in this dish and the sausage was bland. Odd as well, there were many sausage slices piled on the side of the plate instead of mixed in with the pasta. A safety concern, the wood floors are very greasy which makes them a hazard to walk on, especially when raining outside. A member of our party found their walking cane useless because it had no grip on the floor. In the ladies washroom the lock on the door of the handicap stall is broken.
