    I have had difficulties with this location in the past when ordering on DoorDash. Today I used the Swiss Chalet website to order dinner directly and ahead of time in the morning. In the last year, the fries are always stale or cold so I ordered the fully loaded baked potato. By the time I got home and settled in to eat I saw they gave me a plain potato, nothing for the toppings on the side, and no cranberry sauce either (it was the Thanksgiving special). I tried calling three times. Each time someone pretended not to hear me and hung up. In case my phone was the problem, I did call some family members and there was nothing wrong with my phone. Every time I go to eat here I hope it will be like it was a decade ago…and every time it is disappointing. *addition* the meal was mostly inedible. Half the chicken was overcooked and too hard to chew, the sauce and stuffing were cold and congealed.

    The food here is terrific and reasonably priced, and the staff very friendly, doing a great job fulfilling orders. Try the ribs. They are delicious in addition to their famous chicken and fries. Check it out! Post script: we went back and purchased two Festive specials to go but we discovered we only received one pie, one dressing and one stuffing when we got home. So we paid for two Festive Specials but only received one.

    Excellent service and the nicest staff. They forgot our dessert and we couldn't wait any longer as we were traveling, but no big deal. When the bill came, we were surprised to have been given a discount, which they really didn't have to do. Highly recommend this restaurant.

    I was visiting family and suggested swiss chalet as my family has been going to this location since I was young. My dad told me that things went downhill and last time it was bad service and worst food. I convinced him to go back, boy did I regret that. The service was extremely slow. No one came to our table for like 15 minutes to get our drink order. Right off the bat I could smell B.O very heavily. This is not what you expect when you go out to eat. We ordered our drinks and food and it took a very long time. My brother got ribs and chicken and his chicken looked raw. He didn’t eat it. I got a chicken wrap and the lettuce in it was black and slimy. I opened the wrap and pulled it out to show the server as the taste was gross. Turned out the tomato was rotten too. There was white slime all over it. I showed the server and he said “the wraps are pre made” and he made me pay for it. I am picky so I only eat the same thing every time. I don’t expect the lettuce to be crunchy but I don’t want black slimy lettuce. My brother’s girlfriend didn’t even finish her food because the smell was so strong she said it was “Burning her nostrils”. I’m really sad to see the decline of this location as it has been my family’s “go to” spot when we get together for as long as I can remember.

    Came with a group of 14, made reservations a few days before knowing we were coming. We know it’s hard to all sit together so they gave us a corner area for us all which was great! Less, one table was clearly broken and our drinks were spilling. That group of people moved. Next came to ordering, not the fastest for drink orders. Waited 15 mins or so! Getting or drinks and food were a timely matter and for the size of us only one item was wrong for food. Which was great to be honest! Next came time for dessert, our waiter seemed to be gone. We waited for easy 30 mins for someone to come by, mind you we had 6 kids under 6 with us! Finally ordered the kids desserts and got them in a timely matter as well! Next came the bill…. They clearly need more training on this part or a better process on putting orders in for a larger group! We easy waited for 30 mins again for the bill dividing them in 4 groups. Very unorganized when it came to putting the groups together and had to give the waiter lots of guidance who ordered what. And for the bills to still be wrong and corrected again. I know we’re a large group and it’s hard. But we were there for 2.5 hours with some of us having a 3 hr drive home! Definitely need more training on larger groups/ better bill system needs to be in place!
