  Had steak was very disappointed Was chewy and Cold didn’t want to be bother sending back as I hate being that person when at restaurants Put in my notes it was special occasion birthday and they never mentioned it when we came or did anything according to my submissions in my reservations stating coming for birthday dinner so they could plan ahead rather than me having to communicate at time or they mayb could have asked me again privately as it was in my notes when reserved table I would not order a steak again if I were to go back they were very chewy

  We had Maria as our server, and she was well-spoken, kind and overall provided a very welcoming atmosphere. Would definitely come back! Thank you, Maria!

  We had dinner at State and Main tonight. It was my husband’s birthday. Everything from the pretzel bites with warm cheese dipping sauce to the surprise ice cream cake dessert (delivered with a birthday card no less) was excellent. Maria, our server, was attentive and provided great service. We will go back.

  Took my mom there tonight for Mothers Day., Staff catered to my moms needs very professtionaly. Our Server was Maria very kind excellent at recommendations. Really made us feel like valued guests. Meal was cooked to perfection. Highly reccomened

  I have been coming to State & Main for a long time but after the last visit will not be returning. Unfortunately the past two visits the food has simply not been up to par - cold pasta and missing items, which was beautifully rectified by the server and dealt with accordingly, thankfully. The service from the girls is always wonderful and that is the 5 star part of my review (Emma being super sweet!). However I must say that the ignorant attitude my boyfriend received from John the supervisor tonight is the main reason we will not be returning. Regardless of any issue, the absolute attitude and verbal tone coming from him was disgraceful. It seems to me that your lovely servers would do much better in a more managerial position than this guy, as his customer service skills need some serious improvement. He seriously needs to check himself.
